Crowd pleaser. Have come to expect nothing less from a Turley. A bit more fruit forward compared to my liking as I have shifted a bit towards the Carlisle/Bedrock styles of Zin. not overly complex, but the group loved it.

Boy was that good. Sever along side a nice trip tip steak and it held up beautifully.

What a treat! Great wine from Turley. First time with this bottling and sure didn’t disappoint. Big and lush with the right amount of red and dark fruit.

Similar TNs as previous bottle. However, this has also evolved some and really mellowed. For such an inky, high alcohol wine, it was still a really nice sipper. Think the 90 min of air also did it good.

Good, not great. All the typical Zin characteristics but none of them leave me wanting more. Rather stick with some of the Sonoma producers who know Zin and make it shine.

Another fantastic wine this weekend. Gave it 90min of air, but that wasn’t even enough. Second glass really started singing. Brooding and rich with dark fruit. Wonderful expression of a Paso GSM.

Solid cost value Pinot. Nice cherry and spice notes. Agree with a previous tasting, picked up some tea notes as well.

Last of the 2015s. Wonderful nose that led you down the right path. Subtle dark fruits, bright red fruits... almost a tad tart, like a cherry. Enjoyed.

Day 1 seemed a little shut down. You could see the potential, but needed a little coaxing.
Day 2 this wine came to life a bit. Nice blue and red fruits. Glad I have another bottle.

Medium body, lighter reed fruit coming through. Tannins reared their after a little air exposure. Didn't evolve like I thought it might. Good bottle, but some of the other Oublie's have done more for me.

Enjoyed this bottle. Starting to hit its sweet spot. Definitely better on day two after it had some more air.

Good bottle, definitely can tell it has Russian river Valley fruit. A little less brightness than other WS wines.

Agree with other notes - picked up some citrus, mostly lemon on the nose along with the oil like texture. Very complex and well rounded. Best after sitting out of the cooler for a bit... not to be consumed while too cold.

This wine really came into its own. Nice complexity to this Cab/Syrah blend. All the best of each grape varietal - subtle oak, black and red currents along with spice and meat profiles. Long legs and great mouthfeel. If I had one complaint it would be the almost absent tannins. Drink up.

This bottle never disappoints. Bright cherries, almost candied. Hints of chocolate. Well balanced and easy to drink. Would scored higher but the finish was a tad short. Wonderful expression of Sonoma Pinot.

Glad I sat on these for a while. Gave it 90 min of air before diving into this; tons of smoke, cured meats, hints of black and green pepper. Fruits are still coming through on the nose and palate, but don’t linger long. Great expression of Syrah.

Over 5 years since the last bottle. Funny how things change - my score is similar, but my experience far different. Less of the bright fruits and acidity. Now more integrated, rounded. Very cool to see this evolve.

Agree with TNs below. This was a bit lean upon opening and first glass provided an over the top tannic quality. However, with more air things came more to light. The second day was better than the the first.

First and only bottle. Went quite good rustic tomato and pasta dish. Gave it 90 min of air to start and drank over two days - improved with each glass. Nice smoked meat undertones and muddled dark fruits and spice.

Couldn’t wait and glad I didn’t. Last bottle must have been off because this was a delight. Fruit was bright and popping each sip. Still had enough depth to keep balanced and not come of too acidic. Great.

Last of the Brunellos from our ‘08 trip to Italy. Based on recent notes, it was time to pull the cork on this one. Although I agree this beauty wasn’t getting better, I don’t feel I missed the window either. Fruit had subsided some, to be expected for a 19 yr old bottle, but there was life in this. Went nicely with a rustic tomato pasta dish... bellissimo!

Initially not great. Closed down upon opening and hints or herbal and menthol. After 90-120 min, this wine really came to life. What a difference some air did.

Similar sentiments as the 16 Chard - really tasty, but probably more affordable wines out there that provide the same quality.

Enjoyed with Thanksgiving Dinner. Has nice roundness and length, but nothing spectacular. A fine wine, but there are probably cheaper wines that achieve the same results.
