Medium depth, red/garnet. Moderate intensity, youthful and very expressive aromas of higher alcohols, red fruit and vanilla. Medium-full body with fresh acidity, well balanced with medium, round tannins and flovoursome notes of ripe peaches with a hint of mushroom. Very long finish. A classic style, unusual for NZ.

Pale, greenish-yellow, clear. Very good intensity, youthful aromas with floral, pineapple and stone-fruit kernel notes. Bone dry, medium body, crisp acidity, reasonable balance with moderate flavour intensity (nutty, banana) and very long finish. Acid dominated palate but the length suggest that this is going to age well.

I really liked this. Moderate depth of cherry red colour. Lovely aroma, some berry fruit but overlain with cigar smokiness. Very soft and sweet fruit attack, medium length and finishes beautifully. I could drink this all day. Beautiful and understated.

Pale-medium straw colour. Interesting and rather subtle aromas of green apples, honey and floral notes. Palate has two halves: front/attack is soft with excellent fruit sweetness; blends into quite an intense acid finish. Interesting and would be great with delicate fish. Should try some more examples.

Quite pale in colour, yellow rather than gold. Restrained but very complex aromas, autumn aromas rather than high summer, just a hint of butter. Wonderful, again very subdued but well structured with excellent acid (soft but also a touch of astringency) and long aftertaste. Worth the money.
