A stunner! Bought on release and stored in cellar since 2007 (but still widely available for puchase for $70). Modern, ripe with notes of charcoal, earth, and dark fruits like cassis. Great finish.

Definitely can go for another 10+ years, just depends where on the maturity scale you like your wines. Personally, I like both ends of the spectrum - I recently polished off Lafite's 2nd wine from 1983 and it was terrific as well (currently about $200/bottle).
