Ripe, full bodied with black cherry, leather, tar, mocha and red currant flavors. Primary.

A finish that sails on and on. Very balanced, tannins are integrated making this drinkable now for its fruit-forward nature with a long decant or over the next decade if you like tertiary flavors.

A lot of trapped CO2, recommend a hyper decant in a Vitamix :)

A riper, spicier, style of Pinot. Notes of dark fruit, dark chocolate, with plenty of energy and verve on the spicy finish. Some lurking tannins hint at additional aging potential.

583 cases produced.Aged 40% in new french oak.

A notch below the Rice Spivak IMO.

Light bodied, wild strawberry. cranberry, pomegranate and orange peel notes with a full spicy finish. Crunchy mouthfeel makes this very food friendly. Very pure.

this is a few notches below the epic (and now famous 2019) vintage.

i found this wine quite oaky and alcoholic (it doesnt hide it's 15% ABV well)... needed about two hours for the tannins to tame down, and become enjoyable.

Drank at library tasting in Ojai.

This is very fresh, light bodied and food friendly. Would have never guessed the age on the bottle. My favourite from the line-up.

Dark, brooding, dense and spicy with vanilla and oak notes alongside blue and black fruit notes. I suspect this is more than the 15% ABV on the label.

Very modern and concentrated in style, for big wine lovers.

Impressive nose.

Very approachable now, textbook cassis, tabacco, pencil lead, Cacao and blue fruit notes with some nice spice on the grippy finish. Drink over next 3-7 years.

Blend: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot, 16% Cabernet Franc, 9% Petit Verdot, 9% Malbec

Just 300 cases from this 4.5 acre vineyard.

This is a "cool climate" pinot from the true sonoma coast with plenty off pomegranate, cranberry and baking spice notes. Delicate and pretty.

Fantastic, light to medium bodied, 13.5% ABV. Very classical in style.

Made from the best barrels selected across 6 vineyards, covering Alexander Valley, Russian River, and Mendecino hence the generic "California" AVA label.
