Oxidized. All 3 bottles purchased at the estate in Lebanon were oxidized. Chateau storage is probably not great. Still, I won’t buy older Musar white anymore.

3/17/22, 3:53 AM - Without meaning to be flippant, this is an oxidative style wine and it is something that should be expected - white musar is always like that, much like lopez de heredia rioja blanco.

If you have any more, I would recommend a long decant (like a whole day), and don't drink it too cold. Cellar temperature is about right. That should coax the fruit out.

Musar & Yquem on March 26, 2018 (Maritozzo, Moscow): NR/100

Deep amber color meets signature nose of Jerez Fino. No, I ain’t drinking this one.

12/16/18, 9:19 AM - FYI, that sounds correct. It's a dry, deliberately oxidative style wine.
