would buy again if I found. Really interesting wine - floral nose, pear and melon, heavy viscocity but not sweet, golden color.

8th bottle from my case and the 3rd that was corked. When healthy, one of my favorite wines, but I'm going to stop risking it by pulling out for special occasions like my dad-in-laws bday celebration today.

I bought a 6-pack of this based on enjoyment of previous vintages but this is not going well. bottle #3 and I've enjoyed each less than the previous. This one was like kid's juice box apple juice, with a "more oxidized than I should be" finish. I wonder if it was bad, but I've had notes of this profile on each of them - this was just the most pronounced.

the best (and last) of 3 bottles. Drunk up due to fears of the black cork but the wine showed fantastically.

man I do not like this wine. Didn't post a TN the first time but after the 2nd bottle 18 months later, the memories come flooding back. A strong burnt / wet campfire smoke makes the wine almost undrinkable. This time I stopped after one glass and will keep the bottle open as long as it takes to become drinkable or down the sink it goes.

probably the oakiest white I've ever had. Wow. Could not get past it. And the finish was stale cigarettes. Very disappointing... this was not a cheapie (by my standards).

totally different wine. Hot, alcoholic, oaky. bizarre. but I don't think flawed? not sure what to do with my other- if anything this tasted younger, not aged.

i saw the previous TN as "better than expected"... couldn't agree more. Perhaps the best $10 I've spent in a while. A bit hot, a bit too much licorice.... but a very nice wine for an everyday sipper.

hey, this wine finally came around to be interesting, if not pleasant.
Overall, a disappointing experiment. But, this bottle was better than the last. Slightly oxidized, golden color, not a lot of fruit, but vegetal/herbal was a positive.

wow, very different experience than most tasting here. I thought the wine was not ready- most everyone else on CT says open for business. Perhaps I did not wait long enough (or decant) - w/ a group of 5... I get plenty of black fruits, color was dark... tight tight tight

I liked the nose, but the palate was uninspired, with a strong monotonic note that was unpleasant- smoky plastic?

a WOW wine from a most unexpected source... drinking w/ dinner after a long day of burgs w/ the poker crew. This wine had it going on- floral, tons of spice, concentrated red fruit... smooth and velvety without overtly sweet. Blew away the other wine (sorry D). an absolutely perfect combination with rich pasta.

or maybe I was already half in the bag.

This is one of my go-to wines, and it didn't fail tonight. Fantastic nose. New world fruit and oak but balanced and interesting. Hints of spice, floral notes. Can't see one not liking this. Did not decant but recommend I do next time.

I really enjoyed this wine. Dark garnet. Nose of toffee and coffee; fruit less pronounced than the Pavie; more secondary flavors- coffee, burnt wood, almost a toasty bread character.

Certainly Nose OTN. Could keep sniffing forever. Chocolate, leather, dark fruits. Surprisingly fruity on the palate, tannins present but not overwhelming. Drinking really well, and improved as the night went on. Hard to say if that was the extended decanting or the increasing intoxication. A very pleasurable experience and, while young, I would not hesitate to open for pleasure.

different than the nivole (our go-to benchmark). Much paler in color; touch more "sparkling wine" in style, fruity but less sweet; milder flavors. Vote was mixed as to which the crowd liked better.

Nice nose of black fruit; not a lot of complexity, but a satisfying cali cab drinking well. Black cherry and a bit of mocha. I would say drink up.... not a long term ager and I get the vague hint that the curve is starting to turn.
