What an incredible Rosso - hands down the best I've ever had. This beats many Brunellos I've had over the years and for less than 1/2 the price - grab as many as you can. . I cannot wait for the 2016 San Filippo Brunello(s) to be realeased as I can only imagine they will be stellar given the quality and depth of this Rosso.

Ran thru vinturi into decanter for 2 hrs. Earthy, minerals initially on the nose...evolvied into a fig and blackberry jam after another hour. Dark fruits / dark chocolate on the palette with a jammy, grippy finish. Not what i expected (in a good way) Really enjoyed this one

Wanted to l ike this one but very disappointed. Decent fruit but not much balance. Very overpriced and much better quality out there at this price point (and less)

A bit disappointed. Decanted for 2 hours then poured thru vinturi. Good fruit but a bit one dimensional , lackinng depth and uninteresting. Perhaps this was too young or just in a funky stage. Had high hopes as am a fan of Palermo which overdelivers at that price point.

Pear, honey and light acidity; not as viscous as other desert wines but in a good way. Everything integrated nicely. Really enjoyed this one.

- Brick color with medium forming legs. It's in total harmony and has flavours of rose, prune, tobacco and black pepper with a medium/full body. Fleshy texture with a long finish.

decanted with Vinturi into decanter for 1/2 hour then decanted again with Vinturi into glass; nice fruit but good balance with acidity; still a bit tight but open up over the hour or so we drank it.
Another good batch of howell mtn juice!

Huge wine. Big, spicy and sexy. Was excellent with dinner and sipping on its own. Drank right out of the bottle without decant and was thoroughly enjoyable. Always a hit!
