Similar to my notes taken 2.5 years ago: Aromas and flavors of pear, apple, apricot, citrus, ginger and minerals. Great structure. Intense and layered fruit. A viscous texture in the mouth.

Similar to my last tasting on Oct. 2018: Deep dark inky garnet body; purple rim. Blackberry, blackcurrant, blueberry, chocolate, tobacco, cigarbox from the oak. Big, big and intense fruit; rich. Great structure. High viscosity. Smooth and elongated finish. This wine has many years left for appreciation. Score 94-95

A medium red-ruby color; bricking apparent; some some browning on the rim. Aromas and flavors of raspberry, leather, spice, sweet tobacco leaf and cigar box, licorice and Provencal herbs. I did not notice cocoa this time. I got a little white pepper as the wine reached room temperature. No barnyard or bret observed. Rich and intense fruit, but not exceptionally powerful - more of an elegant, composed and dignified type of wine. Excellent structure and balance. A long and extended finish, with herb nuances. Clloser to maturity

Similar to the Tyler Bien Nacido Chardonnay I tasted a few days ago. Apple. lemon, crem brulee and ginger. The presence of ginger is the difference in this wine. Good balance and finish A day two tasting clearly shows the wine should be comsumed soon.

Apple, lemon, creme brulee, some saline, buttery. Rich in flavor, however the fruity intensity seems slightly abated due to maturity. Very well balanced. An elongated finish. I'm consumiing my last bottle very soon.

Light rusty ruby color; browning edge; looks mature. Cherry, some raspberry, tobacco, cinnamon, dusty, forest floor, oak. Well balanced. Nice finish. Not going to get better. The next day I had some more outof the same bottle - it seemed over the hill. I'll consume my last bottle very soon.

Viscous and chewey. Has lots of blackberry, blackcurrant, blueberry, nutty, herbs and vanillian. Big, powerful, with structure for longivity. But, open enough at this stage for appreciation now. Intense fruit concentration. Nice finish.

A clear reddish maturing color; some yellowing on the rim. Cherry, some raspberry, cinnamon, tobacco, herbs and spices. Elegant on the nose and in the mouth. Rich and intense fruit. Good balance. A long, long subdued finish. The wine seems matue now and there is no reason to hold it much longer. I'll consume the remaining bottle within the year.

This time the color is a deep orange color. The apricot is back this time, along with some honey, butterscotch, pineapple and maple sugar. As I last stated two years ago, the wine is drinking at a matured plateau, but should have some time left for appreciation. Rich and somewhat chewy. Again, a subdued botrytis and a soft finish.

Deep dark garnet, along with a reddish hue indicating it's maturing; yellowing rim; opaque. Blackberry, black cherry, mint, leather, tobacco, oak. Mint is obvious on the nose. Big, powerful and intense fruit. Dense and viscous. Tannin has abated, but a lot of structure remains for more longevity. A long, long finish. Score 94+.
