Wine advocate, or whomever gave this a 90 is smoking, disjointed transitions, thin, and generally not delicious in anyway

This bottle seemed vastly improved over the last one that I had. Delicate, earthy burgundian style. Delicious. still needs to be decanted, still drinking very young.

Shows the terrior well, and is not made-up with too much oak, Which is impressive, because this is not grown in "traditional" wine country. Maybe that should change.

very impressive, just had the 2000 Dom, and the 2002 Crystal, and for the money this is amazing, certainly not on the caliber of the other mentioned, but you can almost buy a case of this for a bottle of the crystal. Similar notes to below on the flavor profile, drank very well into day two and three. (I always set aside a little to see how it develops, (or fails))

Nose: raspberries, cherries, very fresh. Mouth: singular fresh raspberries, a light acidity that starts in the mid palette and continues on into the finish, a simple wine, but well worth its price of $ 12.00 Enjoyed with meatballs in a tomato sauce, with tortellini. and broccoli. Great pairing. Easy to drink red.

Day One: popcorn, baked bready, with heavy bubbles, nice acidity I would have given it about 93 points. Day Two: only got a small glass, just wanted to see how it was developing, starting to show third tier flavors through the mid pallet, about 94+ Day Three: This is when it started to get amazing, the bubbles where softening, but still very present. which allowed for a more elegant mouth feel. I got dried mushrooms, complex bread flavors, creme, almonds, brazil nuts, with all of their earthy overtones. It finish with a sprtizy acidity that is still very fresh even after three days open. Amazing, I can't imagine it being much better than this, so due to lack of experience I feel afraid to rate it any higher than 97+. If you are dropping a couple hundred on a bottle of champagne than this is the one to do it on, and waiting a couple of days with it open is very worth it.

Disappointing. I have been waiting on this for a long time, and it lacked acidity, and had just an overly cloying sweetness, that was not backed up by any complexity, it was very singular in its flavor profile. Bummer,

this was terrible, not sure what happen to this bottle, thin, off putting, very disjointed, almost feel like I must have been baited and switched at the winery, there is no way this was the same wine I tasted there. wow!. I little embarrassed too, this happened to be the bottle my guest picked, I had to go and get another to replace it.

Campfire, and smoke, and charcoal, and every other, smoke related word you can think, of, I am not sure if this fell into a little funk, It was rich, and meaty, with great mouth feel, but I felt like I was eating ash straight out of the fire pit.
