Going down fast unfortunatly. Tasted like an old champagne without much complexity.

A very nice surprise. Probably the best Bordeaux 93 I can remember drinking and it still has a few more years ahead.

Beacoup de fruit, tres rond et charnu. Une superbe surprise. Assez long en bouche et tres facile a boire. Tres moderne comme style.

Beautifull wine with great acidity and balance. Refreshing and very good use of oak (barely feel it). A great example of why Burgundy Chardonnay when done with class and simplicity, is a notch above California.

Served right on the open (because of the unfriendly 76). Beautifull wine. Very Pauliac. The nose was relatively discreet but very promissing. It opened after an hour and showed some dark fruit/leather (very cabernet). Still rich and round. Probably at its prime.

Tired wine. No more fruit. Short. Kept it for the short-rib sauce of Sunday that was amazing.

Open and drunk. Good, without any surprise. Bit of wood and still good fruit. Not very long but pleseant. No reason to wait for the other bottle.

Light and tasted older than the vintage. Hope its just a bad phase.

Past its prime. Little fruit left. Alcool very present. No default but not much fun.

Vin plutot dense, jeune. Très agrumeux, citronné. Savoureux, concentré...peut -être un peu court ou trop ferme? Bon, sans plus.

Still fresh. Big, round and long. A good wine for cocktail hour. Not much acidity so the other bottles will be drunk in the coming months.

Decanted for 1.5 hours wich was far from enough. It was still a big block with a bit of green in the finish. It might have had a small defect because the nose was a not impressive and you could feel a bit of humid cardbox in the back. A good wine but nothing impressive for a first growth.

Very bordeaux like. Smooth and long. I will drink all the other bottles in the coming 2 to 3 years as it is not going to improve with more cellaring.

The top of the cork looked bad but the wine was great. I was surprise by the fat of this wine. It reminded me of a young Californian chardonnay. It was long and big but it lacked the acidity/freshness to make it really great.

Very good but not the big fruit it use to have. I think this wine should be drunk over the next 3-4 years. there is not much to gain from more cellaring.

This magnum was great. Still young with great fruit. It was long and well balance. A great example of what Jaboulet can do. It was a great match with our steak filet with Montreal spices.

Good fruit but the tannins were very tight at first. After 1 hour in the decanter the wine openned and became friendlier with good lenght. Still, it needs a few more years before it reaches its peak.

This bottle was easy to drink for an 86. The colour had a very slight orange on the rim and the first smell was very Nebiollo like. I think this bottle was not reprensative of a regular Pauliac. The tannins were surprisingly smooth for this vintage and it tasted of purple fruits. The finish was not very long but it was overall a very good wine.

Decanted for 2 hours. Still tight at first but you could tasted blue fruits and it was well balance with a nice soft finish. I am just wondering if the 95s will ever be more expressive??? I think the 95 vintage's best asset was to follow 4 poor to so, so in Bordeaux...

Great sweet nose. Chocolate, soft and long. 21 year old and still very lively. Was bought at 39.25$ in the late 80s. Well worth it.
