oh my.... decanted for 1.5 hrs before touching... amazing wine, deep color, med bouquet, nice graphite core but still very good dark fruits, this qualified as a special experience... so glad I took my own advice ... just one bottle left in the cellar and while I think it has many years ahead, I don't see it improving, will look for a special occasion and oppty to decant 1-2 hours before drinking

not the luscious cab that my previous note references.. but more balanced with lovely crisp acidity... maybe I had decanted last time..this was pnp'd at a restaurant, and just delicious and was opening up more towards the end of the meal. No where near end of life.

8/30/15, 5:30 PM - If it were my last bottle... (and I have just 2 left)... I'd definitely *try* to hold out until 2017-18... and then plan on a min 1 hour decant. Seeing that my last note indicated a pnp at a restaurant, I feel that typically undershows the more complex wines.

this is 2 of a 6 pack I got through wtso fairly recently, even though this was initially released years ago. ... Dare I say... shenanigans?? I seriously question whether this is the same wine.

2/13/15, 7:10 AM - I actually opened a 3rd bottle, and same crap, I'd reach for a glass of dishwater first.. I told WTSO about the issue and they immediately issued a credit for the 6 bottles... customer for life!

Just so easy to drink. Nice balanced feel to it, med+ body & finish. Lovely bouquet. Just lacked oomph to go higher on the scale, but certainly a pleasurable cab.

Enticing aroma of cherry, licorice and spice mark this firm red. This shows power and balance, offering some wood tannins that add an edge on the finish, with an aftertaste of spice and fruit. Needs a year or two to integrate. Best from 2012 through 2024. –BS
