The 50% sangiovese grape blended with cab and zin makes this a lovely, enjoyable wine which I rate higher than others in the community. Beautiful color out of the bottle, fruity flavors of cherry and blackberry last and last. We are looking forward to tasting our 2002 Fantasia.

Disappointment. For the "suggested retail price" of $80 this was in the catagory of average. Expected much more.

Pretty to look at -- but not so enjoyable to drink. Just confirms that I'll pass on the Pink Wines...............

Beautiful in every respect: Color, nose, palate, enjoyment. I'll be searching for more of this one!

Strong vanilla fragrance, dark berry flavor with a long finish. Extraordinary.

Beautiful dark purple hue; chocolate on the nose that develops into a dark berry; nice finish. We bought this as a "future" and expect it to develop even further as it ages.

Anytime I can get a wine for this price that tastes way more expensive, I'm on it!

I wouldn't call this an over the top chard, but it IS crisp, pleasant, and worth another purchase.

Beautiful jewel ruby color coming out of the bottle. Thin finish, tho. A bit disappointing for a Silverado.

This Argentian wine is a blend of 65% malbec and 35% Cab. It has a deep, inviting red color. The taste lingers around the bing cherries, a hint of pepper. I'd buy this again and again for the $9 I paid for it.

Prefer the Rosenblum Petit Syrah over the Zin. I would buy this again, however, especially because most of our friends do not have sophisticated wine preferences -- yet. It would be an okay wine for simple, uncomplicated enjoyment.

Metallic on the nose, metallic taste. Ick. Cork looks a bit saturated. Could just be a bad bottle. I expect better for $20.

This is a very sweet, yes sweet red wine -- which is fine if you like sweet red wine. If you don't you will want to pitch it.

DON'T open and drink! If you do, you will be very disappointed. This wine MUST breathe. If you allow it some time, it will improve with every sip! We hated to see the bottom of the bottle after "phantom" developed into a truly enjoyable, interesting wine. I'm hoping to secure a few more bottles. GMA

This is a surprisingly, pleasant, velvety syrah. The color is reminiscent of a beautiful ruby, the aroma is of red fruit complimented by vanilla, chocolate, and licorice. The taste can be sumarized by one word -- velvety. It's one of those bottles you hate to see empty at the end of a pleasant meal. Definitely a winner at $13 a bottle!

This wine showed up on my "drink in 2006" list...likely purchased as a close out quite some time ago. Instead of big on the dark red fruits as I expected, it was well into chocolate, leather, tobacco. Cline did not disappoint, even tho I would agree to drink it up. Grandma

I'm not a huge fan of Ohio wines generally speaking, but this Pinot Grigio is starting to grow on me. It's bright and citrusy with hints of green apple. The grapes are grown on St. George Island in the western basin of Lake Erie. Wine label indicates that "the US Government has declared {St. George Island} a specific viticultural area" because the micro-climate is so unique. I think Firelands may develop better and better wines as time goes on. Grandma

This has long been a favorite to take to a party where most people don't know much about wine. The label always throws them too. I feel like I'm sharing a good, dependable, "fun-to-drink" wine that won't disappoint but at the same time I'm not using the best from my cellar for people who are still at the beginning of the learning curve concerning wine! The 2002 seems fuller and richer than the 2003. The folks at Cline have done a good job with this wine. Grandma

We find Christopher Creek wines always dependable, never disappointing. This Chard displays a nose of crisp green apples, also pineapple. There's a long lasting finish that delights the palate. Delighful, pleasant wine experience! Grandma

After reading tasting notes from kageorgi, we opened our bottle last night and agree that it was in the cellar too long. As a matter of fact, we thought it smelled and tasted like a "musty basement." As a younger wine, it was probably terrific. Grandma

This wine seemed to lack something....you know, that "this is really good" feeling you get after a sip or two. It wasn't awful, but it wasn't outstanding either.

We don't often have an opportunity to enjoy wines from South Africa. This one was a delight. Dry, yellow fruit taste (pineapple and mango) finishing with honey. I'd buy this again in a heartbeat.

I was thinking this was going to be somewhere between tolerable and awful on the first sip, but after letting it sit for about 30 minutes, it improved greatly and was actually enjoyable as an "easy to drink" wine. Patience required!

This wine is produced on a small, 20-acre estate in Santa Barbara County, CA. The bouquet reminded me of dark red cherries but the flavor was approaching blueberries and raspberries. The finish was smooth as velvet. I think I bought this on a close-out and now wish I had a few more bottles. A really nice wine all around.

Pearmund is a favorite Virginia winery of ours, producing a quality product that has never disappointed. The Cabernet Franc has a dark red fruit color but the spicy flavor resulted in a very nice balance and finish.

This was a welcome, delicious wine to come home to after several days of travel and yucky wine lists! The blends of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot and Carmenere were perfectly blended with a luscious smooth finish. If the color were jewels, I'd want to own that too!

Here's a wine that was in desperate need of food, and better yet . . . chocolate. Kind of an immature wine that hit us over the head with its intense alcohol, which managed to obscure the peppery and jammy overtones that we expect in Zinfandel. The only thing we could detect on the finish was black licorice (anise).

Bought this on a close-out, wish I had more! Dark cherry flavor immediately apparent, becomes the most delicious chocolate, especially when enjoyed with a chocolate cookie!

One bottle of this wine blew its cork while resting quietly in my wine rack; upon inspection the remaining 2 bottles had bulging corks. Fortunately, I live close enough to the winery to return the fermenting wine. They offered no explanation, but instead gave me 6 bottles of their Pinot Grigio. Nice PR touch. I tasted the PG at the winery and it seems crisp and light.

We uncorked this beautiful mahogany-colored wine to find it's bouquet a rather surprising mix of dark fruits and leather. We decanted it, waited 30 minutes, and found another surprise of intense tastes of cherry, blackberry, raisin and vanilla. The final third of the bottle gave us yet another surprise as it finished out with a spicey, lingering finish with tobacco and chocolate lingering a good long while. It's a complex, pleasing wine and I regret it's our only bottle!

Very strong chocolate on the nose but stronger fig/raisin taste. Lingering finish that improved with every sip.
