When you think Chilean wine, you dont usually think great Cab but i was amazed how balanced this wine was. I would put this up there with some of my favourite Cabs. Outstanding!! Drank with braised short rib and veggies.

Style is very personnel but this Pinot tops my list, a bit fruity but i paired experimentally with burritos and found it conplemented the spicyness of the meal extremely well. Not your typical Pinot experience but pairing is everything. Loved it!

Originally tasted this at RauDZ restaurant in Kelowna and was happily surprised after never tasting this before. Full bodied but not hot and a very well balanced wine with long finish. This wine was poured by the glass at restaurant so not sure how long it had been opened and therefore not sure if it needs decanting. In my opinion, this is the best Meritage I have tasted in the Okanagan.

- Brick color with slow forming legs and aromas of black currant and blackberry. It's in total harmony and has flavours of black currant, blackberry, oak and vanilla with a full body. Fleshy texture with a long finish - Enjoyed this beautiful Napa Cab with my friend J.C. from Oakville. Decanted for an hour and it continued to improve over the next hour and a half. Complemented a great surf and turf dinner, although this one could have been enjoyed on its own as it demonstrated some great bordeuax finese. JP never disappoints!

- Brick color with slow forming legs and aromas of blackberry, black currant, hay/straw and butterscotch. It's balanced and has flavours of blackberry, black currant, chocolate and mushroom with a full body. Oily texture with a long finish - There are not many Merlots that blow me away but I would put this up there with some of the older Barnard Griffins. Poured out of bottle, no decanting and amazing right away. Huge fruit and a lot going on with this wine. Enjoyed this bottle on our spontaneous overnight trip to Whistler.

- Garnet color with fast forming legs and aromas of dusty, raspberry and eucalyptus. It's in total harmony and has flavours of mushroom, bacon, molasses and raspberry with a medium body. Polished texture with a medium finish - Extremely well balanced, however even after a couple of hours it did not seem to reveal itself like it should, a bit shy possibly, but was consistent enjoyment from start to finish. Enjoyed during the 4th Annual Family weekend at the point.

- Brick color with fast forming legs and aromas of blackberry. It's in total harmony and has flavours of cedar and black pepper with a full body. Bright texture with a medium finish - This wine is as reliable as ever. Although some loss of tannins, it remains extremely well balanced and fruit as lucious as can be. Was as enjoyable before dinner as it was with the rib steak. Wish I could have this wine every day. Definitely put this one in my top ten wines.

This F.S.T. Did not dissappoint, this Syrah is a huge fruit bomb of cherries, blackberries and blueberries and was extremely well balanced. Tannins were silky smooth and lingered forever on the palatte.

Great nose of abundant fruit translated well on first taste. Earthy with hints of cedar and smoke. Lorie loved the wine, however, I found it slightly acidic with a slightly unpleasant finish and was hoping for a better result for this Amarone.

This Pinot drinks far better than it's young six months since bottling. Should mature nicely over the next 5-10 years. Can't wait to taste this beauty then.

Beautiful well balanced fruit bomb with lots of plum, black currant and raspberry. Light tannins with nice finish was a perfect pairing for the braised lamb, goat cheese mashed potatoes and warm tomatoe spinach side.

Fresh, crisp very pleasant Chablis. Lots of apple with undertones of butter and pear. Enjoyed with roasted beet, walnut and blue cheese salad.

Enjoyed tonight with a chipotle raspberry pork tenderloin. The pleasant nose was followed by hints of raspberry, blueberry and even licorice. Did not really open up and reveal herself but enjoyed nevertheless. Nowhere near the 2002 which pleasantly surprised me.

Great vintage for Caymus who consistently delivers. This was no exception with huge fruit bomb, well balanced on the mid palate and nice long silky finish.

Decanted for 6 hours and still did not open up so did not quite meet expectations. Lost some of its fruit but was still enjoyable.

This exceeded my expectations, especially considering some of the reviews I have read. Poured straight from the bottle, although could have been decanted for the sediment. Big fruit and butterscotch balanced from the beginning with very silky soft tannins that lingered on the palate for a long time.

I was pleasantly surprised with this one considering I was probably 3 years past peak drinking. It did lose some of the fruit but still enjoyable due great balance and tannins that were soft and silky. Great spice, pepper and blackberries complimented bbq steak and prawns.

I was worried after reading some of the tasting notes that i might be opening this past its time. I was pleasantly surprised that it maintained its balance althought it definitley lost some of its fruit. Peppery, earthy, musky and slightly acidic but most enjoyable. Tannins had disappeared for the most part but did not distract from the enjoyment.

Great fruit and well balanced. Cedar blackberry and pepper remained for hours after opening. From start to finish, and a long finish at that, very enjoyable.

L'Ecole 41 was one of the first wines I fell in love with before I started collecting wine. This did not dissappoint me either. Upon opening, it had a huge nose of berries and pepper, however the taste did not quite match the nose initially as there was a little too much alcohol up front. This quickly softened out over the next 30 minutes and improved a couple more times again over the next 30 minutes. The result was a very balanced wine with smooth tannins that resulted in a nice finish. I drank this without food but was quite pleased that it did not overpower my palate on its own. A solid 90 points
