Medium ruby color. Dry. Light Sherry tones, red and dark fruits, cherry, complemented by restrained floral and slightly vegetal notes, with good acidity, light tannin and medium length.

Beautiful, rich dark ruby red in the glass. Also black reflections. The nose is fleshy with beech smoke. Rich cherry, blackberry and wild strawberry. Plus a bright lacy note from the cassis and tar. Game, Malbec and Carrignan comes as an idea, almost brutally spicy. In the mouth always full steam ahead, the wine comes at you extremely and is spacey. Cassis, black and sour cherry and a little tobacco. Massive, a gentle bitter note at the end. This Croatian does not have to hide behind the established, powerful wines of Europe. Distinctive and impressive.

22 years old Riesling and still alive and kicking!
Beautiful balance of faint sweetness and acidity.
The taste is mouthcoating and also mouthwatering.
No petrol at all.
What a stunning performance!

Last bottle from my cellar.
I could repeat myself from the previous tasting notes but that would be redundant.
This wine refutes the general statement that dry white wines can not age and mature.
This wine was 32 years old!

Thin and sour. Do not consume.

With an age of almost 14 years, the wine is still in a good shape.
Teroldego shows a deep color with a very slight brown rim. It has a pungent taste, slightly bitter but pleasant with a concise acidity.

AMAZING! 28 year young Burgundy, still with grip on the palate, no signs of fading color, smells like teen spirit :-). Worthwhile to celebrate my 64th birthday.

this wine is still drinkable, however it lacks depth and length.
Very simple...

Amazing wine, Burgundy style, reminds of a Montrachet.

Another stunning example. Clear golden amber color, long legs. Sherry notes, herbs and almonds in the smell, smooth and bold mouthfeel with nice acidity and a faint of sweet. Medium-long finish. Can't be better.

helles Burgunderrot ins Mahagoni tendierend, am Rand leicht backsteinfarben, ausgepraegte "Legs"
Nase: reife, rote Fruechte, lebendig
Gaumen: samtig und fuellig, harmonisch, profund, gute Laenge
White - Off-dry
Initially closed nose, that opened up to after some minutes and led into a bunch of tropical fruit flavors. Silky and concentrated, yet full of racy acidity. Sweet, yet seemingly dry due to the nervy acids. Long minerally and multy-layered, lip-smacking acidity. Absolutely no botrytis and no sign of age! Awesome.

Unusual blend of CabSauv, St. Laurent, Blaufränkisch and Sangiovese.
Dense and dark (almost black) in color, liquorous.
Black cherry and blackcurrant, a hint of chocolate and cigar box in the nose.
On the palate a very elegant wine with nice acid integration and a bold and fruity mouth feel. The tannins ar well structured and give the wine a long finish. Can easily compete with high-class red Southern Rhone wines and will even improve the next 5-8 years.
Not a bargain for ~ 20 € but worth every €-Cent.

Golden amber color with a clear aspect, however the last 2 glasses the wine lost a bit the clearness. The smell reminded me of some white wines I recently had from bio-dynamic wine makers like Muster, Werlitsch or Movia. But these wines were much younger. The nose is super-concentrated and complex with hints of flowers, blossoms, honey, almonds... and a bit oxidized. Fantastic mouthfeel with a complex multi-layered taste and a medium-long finish. There is no doubt this wine is right on the peak and it will keep it for some more years.

Will this wine become better over time? IMHO no. It is right on the peak! A very slight hint of petrol but you cannot guess it's age.. It's full of minerality, well structured and long lasting. Unlike wdrewett I do not taste sweetness in this wine. Certainly great with food but also a perfect compagnion without...

an amazing stuff. Dense and strong in both nose and palate. Multi-layered and long lasting. No doubt, this is a great wine of the Blaufränkisch variety and deserves wider recognition.

Had the last bottle in November 2008 and recommended to drink this wine up.
However, I kept 7 bottles and today it was just by coincidence that I picked one from the cellar.
It seems this wine is keeping its peak longer than expected. I could repeat my notes from 2008 here but this would be redundant.
An enjoyable wine, looking forward for the next bottle in 6 month from now.

A truly amazing bottle. Had two others over the last 3 years (no TN written) but if my memory serves me right it never turned up so nicely. A perfect translucent ruby red, no aging signs. Now the wine is open and gives a lot of flavours. The nose is cherry .... and Herbes de Provence and ... oriental spices, a bit saddle leather, smoky and mushrooms. Can't get my nose out of the glass... Grip on the palate, fruity and full-bodied, chewy and lush. Very intense with vanilla tones and an incredible long finish. One of my best Pinot Noirs I had so far.

Straw yellow color, the initial smell reminds me of a Spätlese (actually all Weingart wines are at least of Spätlese quality). Honeycomb and tropical fruits, very opulent nose. The palate is attacked by a great texture with hints of white peaches, tangerine and a gorgeous acidity, a liquorice stuff covering the mouth and leading to a long, long sustainable finish. A stunner for less than € 5.

Bright yellow color, clear aspect. Lime nose, apricots. This goes straight into the nose, fabulous! Herbaceous in a positive sense, rays of sun playing on the tongue. Tingly apple aromatics. Although this is a dry wine there are some accompanying sweet aromatics. All this together is leading into an eternal finish.

Herbst-Präsentation deutscher Spitzenweine (Weinhaus Kinkelstuben, Oberkassel): do not agree with the notes from the previous taster. This wine is a stunner and has nothing in common with a Port. Pencil lead, tobacco, leather and game in the nose. The wood is well integrated but the tannins are still present and give the wine a nice grip. Very good extracted and nicely balanced with the fruit. Extremely long.
