P&P. Nice nose, aromatic and ripe. the palate is a bit under, slightly drying tannins, a tad short. not bad but not worth buying in my opinion.

P&P. very young, would have never guessed a 18 YO wine. nose is quite muted, typical beautiful burg. at the end of the night, with a few drops in the glass, some creme brulée notes. the palate is powerful, tasted like batard more than corton charlemagne. this is enjoyable now but has great potential. would open another in 5 to 10 years.

Pleasant wine, a bit shy, nose is complex but restrained, delicate palate, on the verge of being thin. good freshness, ok length. this is more intellectual than hedonistic. no hurry to drink.

Bottled opened 45 mins before tasting. Nose is sweet exuberant with all the Barossa Shiraz traits (red and dark berries, eucalyptus, spices). the palate is super velvety long with good freshness. but it is so sweet. too much for my taste. the following day, I pored the remaining half a glass that stayed in the fridge overnight. the nose was less exuberant but also more complex with nice peony notes and the sweetness was toned down a little probably due to a lower temperature of service than the day before.

beautiful wine enjoyed along a CC 1996 from Faiveley. the Bonneau du Martray combined power and purity whereas the Faiveley was power and richness. different styles, both great and ready now

Over 2 days. Muted nose when cold, very mineral, subtle yellow fruits. As the temperature goes up, a touch of caramel appears, with more exotic fruits, but remain subtle. the palate is very clean, chalky almost steely, long, mid weight. good now but with potential to improve. i would give it another 4 years to blossom

really nice wine and better than the bottle I had last year. typical nose on white truffle, ripe orchard fruits. the palate is balanced, medium+ sweetness, not overwhelming, with nice balance

First glass with Coravin. the wine seemed clumsy, brewed dark fruit and heavy. few weeks later, I uncorked the bottle and enjoyed a very different wine. fragrant nose, plenty of blackcurrent and spices. the palate is medium bosy+, smooth with ripe tannins in the background, quite fresh and long. very enjoyable although not very complex. still some times left in the tank

beautiful riesling. Nose is complex, dominated by ginger, white flowers and a touch of petrol. the palate is dry but on the richer side (vintage effect), liquid rock, good freshness, round. it is super pleasant right now. I wish there was more acidity to make this one truly special.

P&P. good wine on the richer side. the nose is dominated by butter, bee wax, honey and apple. it is obviously ripe and evolved but not too evolved. the palate goes along, viscous but with good freshness. would not wait too long to drink up.

I have a doubt that the bottled was slightly tainted. After an hour the nose was quite appealing mainly tobacco notes. the palate was flat, did not seemed strongly flawed but gave very little. Tanins were soft. will have to open another one soon to compare.

Surprisingly fresh (I had other 2006 from this Domaine that were oxydized). Nose is on apple and touch of honey. The palate is fresh, pleasantly large and finishes with nice bitterness. Really nice but time to drink I think.

P&P and drink over 2 days. did not evolve much. really beautiful mature Barossa syrah. Nose is dominated by blackcurrant, a touch of eucalyptus, leather, espresso. it is enticing, sweet and powerful. the palate is all about velvet. feel like a comfortable pillow, medium body +, sweet tanins, nice structure, long and keep a good freshness. goes on and on. the wine is in the zone now.

Decanted for 3 hours then poured back in the bottle. Bottle drunk over 2 days. the nose was first a bit too woody for may taste, notes of cherries, dark fruits, spices. The wood dissipated (but not disappeared) after decanting. the palate was juicy at first, medium + body and good freshness. there is some harshness and bitterness in the finish (wood not integrated enough?) and lack of flesh that make the wine not as pleasant as it should have been. Will it get better?

beautiful wine, very complex. Nose is on grapefruit, candied citrus, fresh herbs, slight petrol and a tropical twist. the palate is clean, a little fizzy, long beautifully balanced (the balance was not as beautiful when the wine got a bit warmer). some residual sugar of course, but well in the standards of the category. ready now but no hurry to drink.

quite well made, dark fruits, pepper, the palate is round with good freshness. I do not know Areni Noir enough to say if it is typical, but tasted very "international style", could come from anywhere.

P&P, nice nose of rich Syrah, cherry, pepper, violet. the palate is on the rich side as well, but nicely balanced by a good freshness. tannins are a bit too grainy at this stage. should evolved nicely.

over 3 days. closed at first and slowly opened up. good but not great for the pedigree. Restrained fruit nose, quite ripe (côte rotie like at times with bacon fat notes). the palate is fresh, fine tannins but was lacking harmony. acidity spiked on the third day.

In magnum. P&P. It took a little while for the wine to develop in the glass. Nose is really elegant, on orange peel, quinine, creme brulee, verbena, thyme. The Palate is straight, very fresh, some bitterness (quinine) and low sugar level.

in Parallel there was a Filhot 1937 (from a hotter vintage) which was more flamboyant but also with higher level of sugar and less acidity (a style that I like less).

P&P. Great showing. At first the wine looked old, golden color and the nose was very reach, a bit off balance, clumsy. after a few minutes in the glass, the wine was in a much better shape. Nose on candied citrus, yellow fruits, mint and slight honey. The palate is beautifully balanced, quite rich but with enough acidity. great length. very good wine, ready now.

in Magnum. P&P. opulent nose, cherry, dark series, coffee, sweet. the palate is round, sweet (a bit too much?) very easy going. it is balanced nonetheless, with enough acidity that keeps the wine from falling on the flabby side. not overly complex but enjoyable. drink or hold for a few year.

P&P. bottled flew in a suitcase for 10 hours the day before. at first the wine was not in place but it got better within 30 minutes. nose of fresh yellow fruits, lemon and flint. The palate is sleek, long, racy and refreshing. very very good.

edit after reading the 2 notes before mine: the flint is not overwhelming

Rehoboam (= 3 magnums). I was not sure what to expect considering the poor reputation of the vintage. great sense of relief after uncorking. the color shows obvious signs of age, looks like an old pinot noir. the nose is intense and delicate. sweet notes of black fruits, precious wood, humid forest. the palate is not in place right after opening. after one hour open at cellar temperature, the wine was singing. not a monter of course. delicate, medium body (-), structure is more like a mature pinot noir. the rehoboam was opened for the 70th birthday of my father and all the guests loved it. overall a great experience. Instinctively, I think the size of the content was instrumental to the quality of the wine.

No ID and no indication of the Edition number on the label. beautiful wine, refined, orange peel and warm spices. the palate is delicate, long and fresh, very fine bubble. very collected.
Edit: Thanks to RolfT, I was able to identify the year of disgorgement with the code on the cork : V 751, so disgorged in 2007. by the way, for more info regarding the identification of the age of a Grande Cuvée, i recommend this site: https://winetomas.wordpress.com/2012/11/05/how-to-identify-the-age-of-a-krug-grande-cuvee/

bottled opened 36 hours prior to tasting. tasted side by side with Rayas 98. Intense nose, subtle traditional Reynaud strawberry notes, spices and animal notes. the palate is velvety and very energetic. great wine that will get better I think.
In comparison, the 98 was more delicate but definitely in the same lineage.
