Beautiful aromatics on the nose of this wonderfully balanced pinot. One of the better 11's I've tasted yet. This is how I prefer Calera wines.

Decanted after noticing over powering Oak. - way to much (No brett for me). Even after 24 hours fruit mas masked. Hard to imagine I'm the only one.

Very well made wine. Great nose, balanced, great acidity, defined tannins, structured and delivers complexity. Worth visiting.

Great nose, intense floral aromas with a hint of smoke. Hard to characterize the fruit- the nose is dominated by floral and earth. Very smooth opening with good structure, light tannins and a hint of mineral and smoke. The finish is strong, seductive and delivers. A very nice Pinot for the price. Decanted for 2+ hours.

Soft and fruity opening. Dark flavors dominate- blackberry and currants. This leads way to a soft silky layer and a very nice finish. The wine is another example of the fine Pinot's from Calera and a great value for the price. Consumed while dining at The Marine Room in La Jolla. Decanted for 45 minutes before first glass and about 2 hours total. Fantastic compliment to lamb shank.
