PNP - very tight upon opening, tannins overpowering the fruit. Best to decant or let this one sit for a while. Checked back after a couple hours and the fruit was starting to come through. It was much better on day two. Let this one sit in the cellar if you can, maybe wait until 2018

It is in a great place right now! Could hold for another year or two but why wait.

PnP, I wish I would have waited. The last glass was better than the first. It took a couple hours until the fruit really started to come out. Paired with aged Gouda, worked well with the Syrah/Merlot blend. I will hold the next bottle for a couple years or so.

My new go-to SB. Peaches and lime, tart but not sweet. Nice change of pace from the NZ SB’s. Drink now while it’s fresh.

PnP first sip I thought I got a bad bottle, very disjointed some individual components but no cohesiveness. Decided to take some tasters recommendations and decant. Tried one run through the vinturi and it was better but still not what you expect from a zin. Sent it through the vinturi again and into a decanter, let it sit for a couple hours. This made a world of difference, so much better now. Now if you are expecting a fruit bomb you will be disappointed. But if you enjoy a well-structured medium bodied zin this may fit the bill. Once again my recommendation is to decant or wait until day 2.

Better on day two, but it was hard getting past the funk. Would not buy again.

Very nice blend, the Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot worked well together. It really opened up after a couple hours in the decanter. I could definitely taste black fruit and vanilla with integrated but not overpowering tannins. This wine was great now but should last a few more years. I wish I had another bottle.

Good acid and nice fruit, lingering mouth feel. The wine paired well with tilefish and lobster. I am glad I still have another bottle.

This is a great easy drinker. Nice acid and good fruit. This is my new go to Tuesday night white.
