Gorgeous. PnP. Lush red fruits, soft as velvet, medium-bodied and relatively long finish. Think this is in a great spot now.

MACTHEKNIFE is spot on. Figured I would get more out of this. Gotta give it 2-3 more years

Whoa baby. Tastes like every other one of these I've ever had in terms of flavor/profile, (maybe a little bit more red fruits-raspberry perhaps? this year) but really has a nice mouthfeel and balance. A great effort, drank wonderfully after a short decant. Definitely a winner.

Fantastic. Wasnt expecting this actually after my experience with the 07. This is ripe, ready, elegant, and really well proportioned and balanced. Nice classy effort and a super QPR.

Singing. Enormous improvement since 1 year ago- dark fruit has really come out, still retains that earthiness but in a complimentary way not primary.

89 on the first day, 91-92 on second. nice wine for $40 but $50 pushing it

This was gorgeous. Really deep and packed with dark berry flavors, leather and tar and that type of stuff (all in a good way). A lot like their 07 which I loved - I thought the 08 and 09 misfired - the 10 is back.

Wow as a cab lover you really dont find this type of wine floating around for $33 anymore. Great find. Hoarding! Cherry/berry flavors riding ideal weight and balance through the finish.

Foolish decision! Will be really good of course, but this is a 2010 you really cannot drink yet no matter how much air you give it. Wait 2 years...

Solid as usual. Deep dark cherry, chocolate, smooth yet bold at the same time. I'd say the 10 is somewhere in between the 08 and 09. Go buy

Saw Spectator's 92 rating/feature and they are right on the money. For $37.99 this is one of the best deals out there. Rich and deep enough cab profile but what stands out is the mouthfeel, smoothness and elegance. You could decant and pour this blind to an expert and they'd easily believe its a $100+ wine.

Clean and bright fruit on both the nose and the palatte - raspberry, jam, some nice floral notes. Incredibly pure and smooth. Awesome wine for sure, and will only get better - did seem like it had some hidden pizzaz/potential there that didn't fully erupt.

Meant to let this one sit a few years in the cellar...whoops. Pretty good juice. Raspberry, tart, cherries. Quite gamey. Nice balance of power and smoothness. Will be much better in a few years i am sure.

Tried this after trying both the 07 and 08 recently. After reading the reviews i actually found the 09 to be better than expected, especially at this stage. Believe this could end up the best of the bunch down the road, just based on the tremendous concentration and depth it has. A little bit more dust/rock/graphite to go with the full on attack of dark fruit. Phenomenal stuff. Decanted 1.5 hrs.

Prev taster used the word unbalanced. That sums it up. Not terrible by any means but not worth the price. Go buy a louis martini napa cab for $22.

You have to be a fan of the Lewis style but if you are this is a great buy. Big bad boy with some balance-oak, cherry, a little earthier than the regular cabs. Solid.

Just wanted to see where this was at. Definitely needs time. Two years from now should hit its stride. Not as good as the 08 which is a calssic in my book, but solid.

Confirmed this was a total coup. Cellar time helped even more. Reminds me of the Beringer Private Reserve (at half the price) in that it is a very unique blend, has a different yet appealing profile, uses ripe, high-quality grapes. Shoulda bought 3 cases!

Went great after 2 hours of air with grilled pork, garlic soy broc. Cellar time has helped. Some nice characteristics - plush red fruit, leather, spice, earth.

Ripe blueberry, strawberry, plum, coffee, mocha. Wonderfully balanced with a subtle creaminess to it as well. Really great wine - reminded me of the Regusci Angelo Vineyard (another cult wine-now I see why). Great stuff

Nice cab. Lots of those spring mountain flowers, nice ripe berries. Smooth. A little dusty as one taster pointed out. Right where it should be I think for $65ish. I just love the Estate Cab ('08) though - even at $100ish...much deeper and more complex.

Definitely a softer and smoother cab than I was expecting. Decanted 6 hours as I was expecting a big bold monster a little harshness at this age - it really was anything but. A little flat and less inspiring than I would've hoped, but decent juice.

This is right in my wheelhouse. Smooth, balanced, ripe cab. 08 is in a perfect spot. Opened with a ribeye and looked at my wife 15 minutes later and said "whered it go?" Thats the type of cab this is.

This is a great cab for the money if you like stags leap cabernets, period. More like the '07 than the '06/'08 (which is good news) this is a medium-big, ripe, smooth, well-made cab.

Good stuff. (Makes me want to drink more merlot). Agree with previous note this is so big and powerful its hard to distinguish from a high-end cab. Love the chocolate/caramel deal going on. However - in retrospect this was an enormous mistake to open as it really never unwound to full potential. Definitely wait a few years at minimum.

Beautiful-3 hour decant. Raspberry and vanilla on the nose. Lot of complexity here that I am unable to fully describe. But this seemed to have perfect weight and balance.

This is just such great wine and a good QPR to boot for this type of high quality sauce. The 07 I had on Christmas blew my entire family away so I bought this '09 and popped it (knowing it isn't "ready" but hey someone's got to sample these wines and make buying decisions here). Well it did NOT disappoint - right there with the '07 in my opinion and very similar. This is constently lush (yet balanced), high-quality, decadent wine. I find that this wine actually is what everyone thinks Caymus is, if that makes any sense. Anyway...off to find more!

Really outstanding...after 2-3 hours of air. Deeeeep high quality dark fruit that sails smoothly over the palate. No rough edges but a little zest on the finish to make it interresting. I'm after many more of these pronto
