While I could detect a trace of maybe it being past its peak (in the nose and the taste), this was still an incredible wine. The color around the edge was a deep orange-ish. Great level of sweet, paired it with a manchego cheese. Good contrast.

As robust a wine as I've ever had. I started drinking it with dinner but set it aside to enjoy on its own.

I was very disappointed with this wine. I don't see the 90 W.S. score at all. It was indistinctive and very boring - no wow, nothing stood out. I normally am not that unexcited about a wine but this one was special - I guess it was distinctive after all.

Had the marks of a great wine but perhaps drank it past its prime or storage conditions were not ideal for holding on to it for so long. Would love to find a more recent vintage of it.
