Worst white wine of the year, and I am not even sure if there was something wrong with this bottle or if this is how it taste? Had the Meursault Perrieres 2008 from J Prieur 2 weeks ago and the wine was amazing! Ok the taste profile of a Perrieres is different, but seriously too many wines from Prieur are a big disapointment.

This wine is confusing. It doesn't know what it wants to be because of too many varietals blended together.

THis wine is everything a Great white burgundy should be! The nose was showing mix flavors at opening time but after 1 to 2 hours of breathing time it delivered it all! The power, the fat, the richness, the aromas, all well in place. A superb burgundy! Drink it now

This was my first DP Rose. I had criticised enough the quality consistency of the regular Dom Perignon which often is not on par with expectations. I have to say, the DP Rose is another league. A league of its own as I never tasted such a beautifull Rose champagne. It stands way above the Billecart Salmon Brut Rose which I usually rate as one of the best Rose on the market. The color is amazing, a very delicate light orange salmon which is pretty unique. The nose brings red berries and forest scent in autumn. The foam is very thin and evaporate rather quickly. In the mouth, it is creamy, the bubble is like lace and is finesse and elegance at its peak. Very fresh attack in the mouth. Strong sense of the Reserve wines bringing solid body to the wine itself.. Ready to drink now. Will probably age further very well.

Despite a golden brown color announcing a wine to be oxidated or maderized, it stand up beautifully opening up after every sip. Very oily texture, long legs. Hints of dry apricot, very mature chardonnay, with confit dry fruits taste. Explosion of taste in the mouth with great length and after taste, citrussy and apricot jam. Drink now, don't hold anymore.
