Sits on the light side of red with an almost clear edge. Really pleasant dusty cherry and forest floor flavors. It's light on its feet, but it finishes so long that I feel like it's a bigger wine. Really quite good.

Big and fruity with lots of spice, oak, and cola nuance. Medium+ finish. Doesn’t quite hit to 90 points with me because it’s lacking some of the layered chewiness of some of the best W^2 Rhône blends. Really great QPR at $14. Bought a case, should have bought 3.

It’s held up well. Color starting to fade a bit. Mostly candies cherries on the nose with a similar palate, although there are slight—very slight—medicinal aspects that detract from the overall experience. My advice would be to drink now.

Fruit forward and chewy. Plenty of nuance. In addition to black and blue fruit, there’s pepper, floral, and earth accents. Medium plus finish. Quite nice. Had it in the tasting room and I imagine it would be really great with a beef or lamb roast.

Apple, pear, and peach notes, and even a little bit of pineapple (a very little bit). I don’t get a ton of acidity on the palate—I think it just balances the fruit—but it really carries the finish (picpoul here for sure).

Nose is cherries, a little bit of tar, and a little bit of earth. Light to medium bodied, high acidity, high tannins. Solid cherry and tar on the palate with hints of rose. Finish lasts. Good value.

I had three bottles over the course of a year or so, and none of them sparkled like the folks here giving it 90+ points seem to indicate. I don’t know if garagiste got a bad lot or what, but unfortunately none of the bottles impressed me.

Bright bubbles. Hay and apple aspects. Easy drinking and everyone in the group enjoyed it. Not a super value at $25, but not terrible either.

Paired well with raspberry tart. The semi-sweetness nicely complimented the sweet creaminess of the dessert, and the moderate acidity was a nice contrast. Still quite vibrant.

Out of a magnum. Unlike many other recent tasters, my bottle drank quite well. Really closed on opening, it began to shine after a couple of hours with subdued black currant, black raspberry, and tea flavors. I can’t speak for the 750s, but I’d have no problem holding another magnum (I wish!) for a few more years.

Mostly agree with the other note. Nice mix of flavors. I had picked out the melon but couldn’t quite figure out what it was. I also got some peach along with the other stuff. Full bodied but easy to drink and bracing acidity. Great QPR and definitely would buy again.

I let it breathe for a few hours before drinking. Really well integrated dark red, blue, and black fruit, baking spice, tobacco, and tannin. Some oak, but not a ton. Really long—and I mean really long—finish. It goes on for several minutes. Quite impressed with this wine and glad I let it cellar for a decade.

Sorry for the vague notes, but this went quickly with the group tonight! Dark berries and pepper, a bit weighty but also lively, and a good finish. I’d drink sooner rather than later.

Nicely integrated blackberry, toffee, plum, black pepper, and oak. Fruit leads the way, but the secondary accents are prominent. Medium to full bodied with a really nice, mineral accented finish. A great effort.

Really well put together and balanced expression of W^2 Cab. Mostly dark red fruit on the nose. Fruit leads the way on the palate, with medium tannins, tilled loam, tobacco, and baking spice nuance. Medium length finish. Based on past experience with Isenhower reserve wines, this is probably better in 2-5 years.

Fantastic paired with heart red pasta. Definitely needed the food as a foil...too acidic and edgy on its own, but the tomato sauce and meat really brought out the softer side. At its best, a riot of strawberry, raspberry, and dusty road.

Still rough around the edges if you don’t give it some air. A quick decant is definitely appreciated with this wine. After some air, you get a great amalgam of cherries and earth, wood and acid. Short finish. Good on its own, but really needs some food to shine—meat and cheese plate in this instance.

Superb. Mouth coating and full bodied. Black and blue fruits, strong tannins, and a host of other flavors—spice, earth, oak, and a bit of chocolate. Finishes dry with the tannins and goes forever. Strong effort that will mature for years, if you can keep it in your cellar that long.

It drinks kind of the way you would expect. Simple, unpretentious, and mostly fruit with just a bit of earth, tannin, and acid to back it up. It’s the kind of wine you might serve to a large group or to people that don’t normally drink wine. There aren’t any real faults, but there aren’t any real distinguishing points, either (at least in my opinion).

Some of the fruit has dropped out, so that now there’s dried blackberry, stewed cherry, etc. There’s more tobacco and earth, and the spice is largely gone. Still quite good, we’ll balanced, etc, but starting to be less to my taste.
