Solid Tuscan drinking well now. Nothing special, but solid.

Fruit is a bit flat, as are the tannins. Everyday / BBQ red here (regretting my case purchase).

Amazing for the price / what it is - has some backbone, but fresh mid-week juice that comes together well.

To me - slightly more Pinot than Veuve (in a positive way). The wife prefers the Veuve...

Well past it’s prime (and then some) sugary brown water that was port 15 years ago....

PnP at the Point. Disappointing for “quality” 2015 Napa Cab. No great QPR and probably would pass if given again. Nothing special at all going on and barely “ok” (for a $50+ Napa Cab). If that is not your usual it may still impress, but if it is, avoid...

Strong tannins remain overpowering a solid fruit base. Decant now for an hour and it comes together although nothing too special.

Lovely - tannins still a bit strong, but coming together. A few more years at least to peak, but starting to show what this will be.

Crisp, classic and consistent year over year - a little more depth than your average Sauvignon Blanc - almost an un-oaked Chardonnay. A house favorite.

Am sure this does better in blind tastings as expecting an Albariño we were scratching our heads - minerality, yes; complexity, for an Albariño, yes. Overall, a bit meh... An interesting wine, but I’d spend my money elsewhere (unless hosting a blind tasting with money on the table!)

Red grape upfront for sure - easy every day drinker. Not a lot going on here, but interesting for a Sicilian.

Almost sickly sweet upfront and a classic aged Riesling diesel taste on the back - being generous I’d like to think those two could come together, but doubtful here are there is no integration at all and the back end is more bitter than an aged Riesling.

This is ready - had three bottles for Christmas - first was decanted 2 hrs: too long (became mono-dimensional). 2d through an airator: wonderful bouquet, but a little closed. 3rd was perfection: decanted an hour and was singing (although even then feels a couple years past it’s prime).

Beautiful dark color and depth on the fore-palate. Very strong tannins still and back palate is quite bitter, but after running through an aerator was quite nice and rich.

Very nice - refined almost French-like structure for a Napa red. Tannins give a nice backbone with rich fruit. Does feel like now is the time to drink as after a few hours open the fruit was starting to fade.
