Excellent, sweet nectar! Light golden color, hints of butterscotch, apricot, peach, caramel. Long finish. Bought a few splits to lay down in the cellar, certain it will get even better with some age.

7/3/16 Decanted 2 hours, spectacular wine - in sweet spot! Highly recommend, going to buy another bottle. WOTN after tasting 14 different wines at annual wine & swine BBQ party.

Outstanding, still drinking beautifully at age 19. Voted 1st place wine out of 8 different 1997 Brunellos - horizontal blind tasting at Restaurant Michael in Winnetka. Drink now, or cellar up to another 5 years.

WOTN at holiday wine dinner. Group favorite over '99 Insignia, '99 David Arthur Elevation & '94 Dunn. Amazing bouquet of oak & pencil shavings. This Bordeaux blend is in great place but drink up!

Popped and poured without decant. Good fruit, balanced and fine tannins - drinking very well right now but it's ready so drink up! Always liked this wine, good value and I'm looking forward to trying other more current vintages in the next few years.

Very enjoyable CA Pinot and a good value. Visited the winery in April 2011 and shipped home a case. Layed it down to rest in my cellar for a year and recently decanted and drank 2 of the bottles (with food) with consistent notes. Very elegant, beautiful color/deep garnet hue, nice nose of roses, oak, spice. Flavors of cherry, dark fruit, some earthiness. Balanced satiny finish, and some tannins. Will improve with age, but delicious now. Would recommend to others.
