Purchased at a very small vineyard outside of Reims in 1996. We had this at Tony's in St. Louis on our 10th anniversary trip. A little too old, bubles were almost gone. A hint of vinegar around the edges but a great finish. Everyone with better palates than I loved it and didn't notice the vinegar.

If you are lucky enough to still have a bottle of this in your cellar, you should drink it ASAP. We had it with steaks from McGonigle"s and a light caprise. It was awesome but unfortunately we decanted it and it only lasted about a half hour. Open it when you are ready to drink in and then be quick!
