Warm nose with notes of barnyard and macerated cherries. Medium bodied, and once in the mouth I realize the wine is a bit too linear for my liking. The finish is initially pleasing, although a little dry. You can get better for the price and obviously it was a tough vintage. To be drunk over the next 5 years.

Needed two hours in a small decanter to open up. Lovely nose of macerated red fruits, fresh flowers and underbrush. Dense mouthfeel with soft tannins. A couple of years from maturity and will provide a satisfying drinking experience for 10 plus years.

The best viognier made in Switzerland, in my opinion. Expressive aromatics, full bodied, a pretty straightforward wine to accompany fish dishes or vegetables like asparagus.

Opened one hour prior to drinking. Stunning minerality on the nose, great complexity and length. Not as good as the previous bottle but still peerless amongst chasselas wines. It's now entering it's second life and I'm looking forward to opening the next bottle in 4-5 years.

A great pinot noir from an area that still has to develop an image as a first class winemaking region. Great fruit and overall balance. Nice! Looking forward to the 2009s.

Lovely, as always. The 2009's are a little too alcoholic for my liking but that's vintage-related. Looking forward to receiving the 2010s.

Good value from this young producer from Valais. This is a very fruit forward merlot with seductive aromatics. It lacks a little weight but the overall impression is positive.

Overall impression is that the wine is quite off balance at this stage (weak aromatics, high acidity). Nose is pretty and the length, although satisfying, lacks fruit. For the price, I find 2009 Tenuta San Polo's Rubio to be largely superior. Looking forward to 2010 vintage.

- It's somewhat balanced with a medium body. Round texture with a medium finish.

Perhaps the finest chasselas.

Great but lots of acidity still. Will drink another one in 5 years.

Too young, will drink again in a couple of years.
