Bottle 411048. This is just so easy to drink. Green apple, a little yeast, and a wonderful amount of acidity. Hard to put down. The bottle went much quicker than I would have anticipated. My wife normally dislikes sparking wine, but she enjoyed 2+ glasses of this at dinner.

Great nose of tart fruit but rather closed on the palate, even after 2+ hours.

Notes of dark fruit and pepper on the palate. Added a little oak complexity on day 2 and three. Overall, a really easy wine to drink that hides its alcohol really well. A great buy at $20 if you can pick it up from the winery, but the QPR drops a little bit with the expensive shipping.

lots of very small bubbles. Tart apple on the palate. Maybe this was an off bottle, but I think that the regular NV is better. Was really hoping that this would compare to vintage champagne as the price is approaching that, but it just didn't deliver. Neither more time or changing the temperature improved the wine. It was decent, but certainly not worth $40.

Deep Color that looks to slowly be transitioning from purple to red. Closed immediately after opening but really seems to get better after 2-3 hours in the decanter. Lots of fruit on the nose, green pepper and spice on the palate(maybe a little old world leather flavor as well), and a decent finish. I look forward to seeing how this evolves over the next two days. Unless it falls apart tomorrow night I will be in no rush to drink my other bottle.

Very similar to last time I had this around two years ago. Decanted for about an hour. Great nose of cherries and cassis. On the palate, cassis again with a little pepper leading to a long finish. However, this wine started to fall apart after an hour in the glass and became only a shell of what it once was. Nose was still great, but the profile was quite diminished on the palate. Drink up.

This wine definitely needed some air time to open up. Much better with food on the first day. Revisited on second and third day to find pepper on the nose with some simple fruit in their as well. Nothing too distinguishing on the palate. I was hoping for a little bit more out of this wine... maybe time will help. Good but not great.

Enjoyable wine... Good but not great. Good acidity with grapefruit, floral notes, and maybe even a little bit of straw on the palate. Overall, this wine is a nice summer sipper that you don't have to think much about as it goes down.

Great nose of tropical fruit. Mango and pineapple on the palate leads to a nice long finish. Consumed this over multiple nights and it was as good on the last as it was on the first. I really enjoyed this... Especially at $20 for a 375. I'll see if I can try and hide my other bottle for a decade or so.

This wine was very difficult for me to describe. There is a lot going on right now, and it was difficult for me to pull out anything distinct...at least there was a nice long finish. For some reason it was difficult for me to drink more of a glass of this at a time without it killing my palate. It is as though the wine disappeared after a glass... Same thing happened to me the second day as well

Nice sparkler for under $20. Strawberries and grapefruit on the palate. The bubbles do disappear from the glass quickly, but the glass was finished too quickly for me to give it much thought. Enjoyable with food, but maybe better as an apertif.

This bottle lasted for three days and impressed me with cherries, and pleasant, but noticeable tannins. It came out of the bottle a little bit hot but improved in day two followed by a slight decline for night three. I found this wine paired best with dark chocolate.

Decanted for about two hours and consumed over two nights. I found lots of ripe cherry in the palate. Tannins weren't harsh even though this wine is still a baby. Another good buy from wtso

Decanted for a little over an hour... Brick red in color as to be expected from a wine this old. This wine is subtle in all of the right ways. Aromas of cassis followed by dark fruit on the palate and a little bit of pepper at the end to complement the fruit. Smooth tannins. Had this along with a 2009 pine ridge cab, and this one was my clear favorite

Overall, a very solid pinot. There is nothing fantastic about this wine, but I couldn't find any flaws with it either. Lots of cherry in the nose that continues on the palate as well as other red fruit. Enjoyed it over two days after decanting for about 90 min on day one. Can be enjoyed with or without food.

As the bottle states, lots of strawberries. You can definitely notice the alcohol, but it isn't unpleasant. Very solid offering from twisted oak.

Drank over two nights. Upon first opening, lots of acid and citrus. With more time out of the bottle the acidity and citrus soften to allow for a wonderful experience. I really enjoyed this wine and am glad to find it on the shelves of my local liquor store so I don't have to go far for my next few bottles that I know will be purchased soon.

I only have a few experiences with petite sirah, so I guess my notes might be a little elementary. Like all bottles from Sunce that I have tried, this one is throwing quite a bit of sediment. Inky purple color about as dark as it gets. Upon first sip, it feels a little bit thin and lacking of body. However, there is at least a decent finish at the end. The wine improves given time out of the bottle, but everything in the palate is still short leading up to the finish. Lots of plum.. Didn't want to rate as I don't have much experience with this varietal, but I would call it acceptable

Notes come from after letting it sit in the decanter for about two hours. Hints of dark fruits on the nose. Upon tasting, there is a lot of fruit here... especially raspberries, but I would definitely not call this a fruit bomb. After about two seconds the acid begins to hit and leads towards a decent finish. Not a ton of complexity, but I think that this is definitely a pretty solid QPR for $11. It definitely beats anything you can get at the local store for the same price.

Really mellows out with each day in the fridge. I still can't drink more than 1.5 ounces at a time, but it is a great way to end the night. On the Palate, raisins fade to molasses and maple syrup. If you haven't tried it before, it will be an interesting and enjoyable experience.

Like one previous note has said, you can really smell this wine well outside the decanter and glass. Nose of dark berries that really match the purple hue of the wine. Vanilla and the dark berries continue on the palate. Paired fairly well with filet mignon and chocolate, but this wine really showed its full potential with some cheeses that I had on hand.

Really opens up with extra time out of the bottle. Similar to the regular Ondarre reserve, but the finish is much longer with the mayor.

Popped and poured. Initial nose of ripe red fruit with a dark ruby color. I should have decanted as the first sip out of the glass packed quitena bit of heat. The heat finaly melowed out after about 30 minutes in the glass, but there just isn't anything in this wine that makes it stand out... Good or bad. Overall, a decent daily drinker that will suffice after a long day at work.

Overall, a great wine probably beginning to enter its prime. Wonderful nose and initial palate taste of vanilla that leads to a smooth finish of chocolate. Paired well with stuffed bison burgers for dinner but really showed its full potential with strawberries and chocolate for desert. This is what a good merlot should taste like.

Great taste of dark fruit and blackberries with a decent finish that lasted for at least 30 seconds. Tasted great with Gorgonzola cheese on salad and also with some dark chocolate. A wine that drinks fine on its own, but also works well with strong meats and other foods. A great wine for the price.

Taste is muted straight out of the bottle. This wine really needs time in the decanter to open up. The bottle had quite a bit of sediment on the cork... more than any other I've had in my limited experience. Even 2 hours later there is still quite a bit of sediment at the end of each glass. Tastes of fruit quickly give way towards a finish of tobacco. Paired well with pork tenderloin, veggies, and chocolate for dessert. Overall, a good wine for the price.
