Not good. Harsh finish. Nothing stands out with this wine. Maybe the tannins will mellow with time.

I way prefer aged Solaia. I realize they are not in same price point. However if I am going to spend $130 cad on a bottle of wine. Why not spend extra $100 and get something over the top good.

For the price i paid for this I could get very good Napa cab

I have 14 bottle left. Hope they age gracefully and I am wrong.

11/19/19, 5:30 PM - I know some people claim that Tigs can be drunk young, but IMHO they need 10+ years to really show their stuff. I've found this to be pretty consistent among the vintages I've sampled.

Displays the savory herbs and meaty characteristics of a Mourvedre-dominant blend, but surprisingly austere on the fruit side. Understated finish. In a dumb phase? Significant letdown for the price.

10/8/17, 9:27 AM - That would explain it. Uncharacteristic for a Panoplie release. I will hold on to my other vintages for quite some time before sampling.

2003 R. López de Heredia Rioja Blanco Viña Gravonia Viura, Macabeo
I think it went bad. Sour. Odd color.

12/8/14, 12:06 AM - That is the style - it is deliberately oxidized. Pair it with any sort of anchovy-based tapas and you'll understand it a lot better.
