Excellent wine from this area. This wine is drinkable today or you can hold. I find this wine to big a BIG and bold wine. This was a perfect pairing with the food I ate. (Filet's and BBQ pork ribs).

A great wine find at Costco. 2012 vintage is great. The earthiness of this wine brings out the champagne for sure. Cheers

black licorice, earthiness, pepper, very tight on the nose. slow legs for sure. dark and inky. lots of mixed dark fruit. long lasting. high tannins. also high alcohol.
Good to drink today or hold for 2 years or less. Cheers

Excellent wine. I would hold off for another 2-3 years, yet still very drinkable today. If you open today, decant for at least 2 hours. Fruit is very vibrant, and needs to chill out a bit. Cheers

ok. Second bottle opened, and I am really impressed with this wine. This vintage has taken some heat, and this wine is a good wine to drink now to the next few year. Med tannins. nice red fruit, mix with some earthy soil. Try this one over a 2-4 hour period. when it first opens up, it's not ready to drink. a bit of old mushrooms. after a bit , it begins to change, and becomes very approachable.

Open this for at least 3 hours. I opened the day before, and the fruit was very tight. So I decided to put the cork back on, and drink the next day. Huge difference. The wine becomes silky, and super easy to drink. Cheers
