Wow. this is was the WOTN by a mile. Drank with a group of Chevaliers. Unbelievable and rare wine. In perfect balance. Vosne perfume and sweetness with the finesse and power of a top producer and site.

Classic brooding Napa Cab. Huge wine, nice structure, earthy, blackberry, subtle tannins. very much enjoyed this tonight. Not sure if it will improve all that much, so I would put the window now - 2020.

Unbelievable this is 21 years old with this much life. Complex and a great example of C blanc. Bravo! Thank you Ian - Sommselect for finding this gem.

Good fruit. A little sweet for me and not all that complex. Easy to drink crowd pleaser however.

Legit. The real deal. This wine has aged fantastically. Better than the first. What a treat. Silky texture with perfumed aromatics. I really appreciate the wines of Viader.

Wine is now more integrated versus the last bottle. Coming around now... I think the drinking window is open. Good effort from Viader. Deep fruit and now the tannins have calmed. Nice.

For me this is a sweet fruit bomb. Is very big and actually has nice structure, but it's tough to get past all that fruit. Maybe some age will help this.

Wine of the night. Decanted for an hour. Great perfume on the nose. Nice balance to this wine - spice, earth, sweet fruit. Should improve over time. This wine is a winner.

Past peak. Enjoyed this though. Resolved. Acidity on the edge, but still has some fruit, earth, and perfume that made it enjoyable. Eat with food. I decanted this and it crashed after about four hours (a bit sour). I have one more and will drink shortly.

I'm struggling to understand the high WS score. This is thin and not very interesting. Seems light for the blend. I'm not sure this will improve. Might as well hold and see how it is in a couple of years. Worst case, I can cook with it. At best, this needs food and is an everyday wine.

Wine is improving. Julie and I thought this was just as good as wines we had the evening prior that cost 5X the price. this is super QPR and has improved a little. In its prime drinking window now.

This wine is too young. I am learning more about foley wines. They need at least 7-8 years to age. This has an alcohol edge that is not pleasant. If you want to drink now decant at least two hours as it mellowed a bit. This needs time to integrate. Maybe 2 more years. Should age for at least another 10
White
good. but not as complex versus prior vintages.
