Really below average for a California chardonnay, could not taste any varietal notes since they were overwhelmed by residual sweetness. Blue Nun is what I compare it to. Will not buy again.

Bought a case of this at the winery in Paso Robles on sale, so I've drunk this a few times. While this is not a fruit bomb, it is very fruit forward and every bottle has been quite sweet, way too sweet to enjoy with classic food. Perhaps this would be okay with spicy oriental food or BBQ.

Classic pinotage, with lots of smoky and leather notes. I've had more full bodied pinotages but this one stood up to grill tri-tip with no problems but didn't overwhelm salmon.

Great depth, mouth feel, and richness, mushroom and yeasty bread notes. Just loved this, so I went back and bought half a case. Okay QPR at $38. Amazing value at $20.

Nice juice for $7. Straight forward (no thinking here), okay length, no depth, simple pineapple notes plus a little green apple. Mouth feel is surprisingly rich. Slightly sweet but not too much. Good for a hot afternoon.

Beautiful fruit forward and complex, not earthy or Bordeaux-style at all. Big cherry and plum flavors.

This is NOT a pinot noir. This is a blend of Petite Sirah with Pinot Noir. This has NO Pinot Noir characteristics. It's does not taste like a New World or an Old World pinot in any way shape or form. No complexity, just overly fruitly.

Brillantly complex; sweet but not overly so; never tasted a Riesling quite like this; honey, melon notes, great length

Bright, fruit forward and surprisingly big. Classic California Pinot. Not amazing but good QPR if under 20. Okay QPR at 30.

Okay fruit, little complexity or depth and too sweet for an every day sparkler. The entry level French corporate producers are typically a better quality California sparkler.

Bottle had lost all it's fizz, luckily it was still a very nice (but flat) rose.

Quite sweet, nice rich honey notes, slight grapefruit and melon in the aftertaste. Drinking very well at 10 years.

Nice combination of old world and new world pinot noir. Good structure and solid plum fruit (new world), but some earthiness too (old world). Good acid, almost a zippy.

This had classic CdP notes, but they were somewhat muted. This is not a huge overpowering wine, but a nice subtle wine with some (but not amazing complexity). Not sure I'll buy again.

I was somewhat disappointed. It didn't have the complexity I was expecting. It didn't have yeast or mushrooms, or any of the notes you'd be looking for in a more premium cuvee. Stick with NV Roederer, it's just as good and half the price.

Beautify pinot for the price, solid classic pinot notes, bright fruit, enough acid, would stand head to head with most $30 pinots.

Standard sub $10 California, similar quality as Korbel Brut, a little lighter but with similar off-notes; I like Krobel Natural somewhat better.

One of the most boring cabs I've drunk in a while. Poor QPR at $15/bottle. Needs better fruit, okay lenght, light tannins, no complexity. Only slight Napa notes on the nose; none on the pallet.

Nice mid-body Bordeaux with good lenght, tannins are well integrated, perhaps more of a subtle wine when compared to the new international style. Went well with braised veal shanks.

Fruity forwarded (cherrr mostly) with some depth and length; I would have liked more earth and tannin. Will hold before I try my next bottle.
