This is a big wine. Lots of fruit and spice and tannins. This was good, but tannins are still big and could definitely stand up to a few more years in the cellar. I will certainly wait to open the magnum. I get a lot going on in the nose, smoky, berries, earthy spices. On the palate, the tannins jump out first, but followed nicely by red fruits, esp cherries and plums and some smoke with a lasting finish.

A great nose of cherries, berries, and cinnamon. On the palate, I get more of the same, with lots of red fruit and hints of cinnamon and maybe even nutmeg. Paired really well with Memorial Day BBQ fare. Overall, one of the best Zinfandels I have had, but I have to admit I am not a huge Zinfandel fan.

A light and refreshing rose with nose and palate of melons and fresh berries. Good acidity that leaves me wanting more. A fun summer wine that drinks easily.

A fragrant nose of red fruit, strawberries, smoke, and anise. Overall, a very drinkable wine with well integrated tannins. On the palate, I get more smoke and tobacco, juicy red fruit with some hints of earthiness. There is definately some oak, but not overwhelming. Nice wine for the price and drinking really well right now.

Citrus on the nose with hints of green pepper and herbs. Pretty complex throughout the palate with nose of citrus, melon, and buttery oak. Nothing too overpowering. Nice acidity on the finish. Overall, a very nice Calif. Chardonnay.

Nice red fruit on the nose. Tannins are well integrated, but still there to give the wine enough structure. Lots of berries and fruit on the palate with hints of pepper.

Deeper in color than expected for a chianti. Deep red with puple tones. Light legs and young in appearance. Sour cherry, minerals with forest floor and tobacco notes on the nose. Light to medium bodied wines with refined acidity on the palate. Tastes of cherries, black fruit, and oak with sweettarts on the atteck. Medium finish that leaves one wanting. Young subtle tannins, that could stand some cellar time. Pairs well with food esp pizza.

Nothing super complex, but i do get some berries and earth on the palate. A simple and tasty wine for everyday drinking. A little hot and short on the finish, though.

Really nice, classic RR pinot. Although I admit I am partial to pinots in general! Great medium body food wine. Cherry, cola, tea, and earth notes. YUM! Wish I had more than one bottle left.
