11/7/22, 5:58 AM - Is this the correct rating? Your earlier comment said it was good.
5/8/22, 2:18 PM - I completely agree with your description of drying tannins and red fruit. Might be in a rough phase now and hopefully as the tannins soften this wine will shine. Agree it’s not a 94-96 rated wine at this point.
3/24/21, 3:41 PM - Yikes! Thank you, that was an error. Meant to be 90
1/22/21, 6:19 AM - Thanks for the info. Your TN are wonderfully detailed. Thanks for your contributions to CT. Didn't have a pinot that was ready to drink. Served with Chicken Marsala https://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/chicken-marsala-232152
10/28/20, 3:28 PM - To answer srh's question on decanting and pairing... yes I decanted the wine for 2 hours. There were plenty of "rocks" on the bottom of the bottle. Paired it with petite filets and a healthy appetite. Hoping the '10's are as good because I'm out of the '09.
10/4/19, 6:47 AM - Glad to hear it's drinking well right now. This wine initially had very high barrel tasting ratings but upon release, it was a bit disappointing according to one of the pro reviews I read. Perhaps it shut down for a bit. Will be drinking my last bottle tonight.
10/6/19, 5:25 PM - It was James Suckling who ended his description as "best ever" and gave it a 93-96 barrel score. I can't find his follow-up note following release with a lower score.
10/6/19, 5:28 PM - Yikes, I was wrong, it was Parker as shown in the link in the earlier note. Sorry for the confusion
1/26/17, 6:25 AM - Decanted the wine for about 2 to 2-1/2 hours before drinking. Enjoy!
