Fantastic full-bodied Syrah. Balanced, blackberry, currants, with room to age though drinkable now. My go-to for the last month.

Thick, dark, earthy with rich acidity and tannins like a slap in the face. Really opened up after about 30 minutes.

Let it decant for 8 hours. What a magical bottle of wine. Can't wait to see where it ends up.

My third bottle in as many years, and boy is it filling out nicely: silky, complex, and a medium (but strong) finish. I wish I could find more to see where it ends up.

Let it sit to open up a bit, oak, currants, good value.

Earthy and ripe cherries. Sweet, dense, and great on a cold & rainy night.

Plums, spice, and a clean finish. Could have drank it about 6 months ago.

So much tightness, fruit and tannins when first opened. Needed to sit about 30 minutes before really opening up and then, wow. An elevated, vibrant balance in the nose, with a lingering blackberry finish. Went well with a sativa-dominant hybrid like Pineapple Thai, even better to relax with a good body high from a Romulan or Romulan substrain.

Smooth, black cherry, ripe fruit, and a dark almost peppery finish. Squash & zucchini casserole, broccoli & black pepper, sweet potato & candied pecans, and Purple Nepal. Ella Fitzgerald.

Blueberries and plums; tannins right on the edge of gripping. This wine is a teleportation mechanism that will take you to the Marche. The Lacrima grape! with Sangiovese and Montepulciano, gosh, what a delightful combination.

Fantastic value: a big, vibrant, balanced, and instantly drinkable 50-50 Montepulciano / Sangiovese with a nose of every kind of berrie. I'm biased/sentimental but wines like these are why I love wine.

What a fantastic wine for the price. After 10 minutes or so it opened up with a thick nose of blackberries and... dark chocolate? Thick, strong tannic structure with a long oaky finish with a hint of sweetness. Excited to see how it matures.
