Lime water, green nectarine, popcorn, gentle butterscotch on sparkly acid. Lengthy finish. A joy to drink

Lovely wine. Sweet blackberry and plum, blueberry and pepper. Earth and dark chocolate. Kitchen spices, clove and a little menthe. Lithe mouthwatering acid work, silty tannin. Threw a stack of sediment. Lovely winestill quite primary with plenty in the tank. Enjoy over the next 10 years

Lovely wine. deep, rich brooding. Almonds, ripe stonefruits and a squeeze of lemon. Some butter, pineapple and cream through the palate. Nice acid work persistent, but not intrusive. Good length of flavour. very enjoyable

Cork stained up to top along a defective river in the cork. Somewhat stewed fruits, red cherry and rose, a sweet tinge, teracotta, orange rind. not as delicate as I'd like my barolos. Loved Mauro Molino when visiting. This one didn't quire do it for me.

definite summer smasher. apples and apricot, pineapples and lemons. Talc and slate. Nicely balanced, but sweet entrance and a sweet exit. not enough acid through the mid palate/back palate but at £11 a decent bargain

Very similar to the last note. Acid still prominent, a touch of va in the bottle. Bright cherry that leads to deeper plum, leads to syrupy dark fruits. Coffee, earth. A bit of meatiness. A bit off kilter on the balance stakes. But good intentioned.. Good fruit but... 91 at best

cork soaked to the rim. Bottle still in good nick. Strong whiff of coffee beans, blackberry, cherried leather and earth. A little thin on palate weight with secondary characters coming to the fore. Good drinking for its age.

We had one of these at the SWTG night last week, and it wasn't showing as well as one I'd had previously. Figured I'd crack another. This one showing a lot better. nose of milk chocolate and plums with an earthy blackberry core, cloved spice. Black fruited, savoury and spicy with a long aniseed finish. Back on target.

I really liked this. It was full bodied, but still light on its feet. When you felt it was going to tip over to the cloying dense heavy white it would pull itself back together. Peaches and cream, apple and fields of floers. Lemon and quartzy mineral. Talc like tannin. Just a really nicely balanced wine. Easy drinking, but enough interest to get you going back. One of the better whites i've had this year.

This is a stunning little number. Needed a bit of time in the glass to unfurl, but it was so delicate and ethereal. All pot pourri, raspberry, rose, a lift of earthen caramel and always remaining light on its feet. A a slight herbal crunch of ripe tannin. Juicy. Perhaps a little alcohol warmth in its infancy, but thats really searching for a negative. Just delightful.

Quite a stunning pinot. More fruit forward than the French counterparts leading it to possible feel as though it wont age. But this at 8 years old is still very primary.
Fresh strawberries, cherry, peaty earth rumble through the palate. Some light undergrowth in there too. A delightfully well balanced delicate wine. Singing tonight.

Dark black and blue fruits, kirsch. Deep and rich with velvet mouthfeels. Undergrowth mushrooms business, some light twiggyness and supple tannin chugging through the end. Lovely stuff.
