Bought at Full Pull under their redacted series. No noticeable funk like you would expect from a Rocks/Cayuse spinoff. Meaty, no funk nose.
Two of us finished the entire bottle so a worthy effort.

Popped the cork about 5 hrs early for a little decant. Graphite prevalent but nice fruit. Thats about it. Nice, but I dont expect I will return to this wine.

Bought based on some reviews I read. It has dark fruit tones but overall not something I would buy again.

Lots here to enjoy. Tannins add to the enjoyment which is rare. Lots of length. Worthy of a special night.

Note written on 2nd night. Just hasn’t lost unpleasant tannins. Consistent with my first bottle. 3rd bottle goes in the gifting bin.

Overdone green apple. Tartness make it hard to enjoy. Couldn’t sneak this past my wife no matter how much I feigned enjoyment.

At a Brazilian steakhouse in São Paulo. Nicely made. Little pepper. Tannins do their job in the background. Too bad not available in USA.

Drank over 3 days. Never lost the tannic undertones. I bought quite a few 2010s Brunello. This not one of the better ones.

As expected similar to a Cayuse. Less Funk for sure. Drinking very nicely right now. As other reviewers noted, the alcohol level seems to be in check. Appreciated.

3 hr decant. Full body, lots there. Typical Cab Franc flavor profile with well melded fruit. A good example of why I buy Cadence Bel Canto.

This West Slope has more dried plum or dark fruit flavor than some of the other vineyards. More body. All good but different than other Donums.

Decanted 3 hrs before, loaded back in bottle and off to restaurant. Definitely a Cayuse wine. Similar funk nose. That said, not much Syrah pepper there. A great wine but not all that different than an En Cerise or Cailloux.

Have had multiple vintages of this wine and previous bottles were stellar with great crispness and acidity. Maybe this was a bad bottle, but was really disappointing. Tannic to almost bitter. Served at Thanksgiving to the expectation of a #6 in WS top 100 wines. Did not deliver. Wont try another for at least a year.

Reflected the more vegetal and earth flavors of a St. Emilion, maybe the effect of the Cab Franc blend. This wine followed QC Galitzine Cab Sauv and fared well if totally a different wine.

I pulled the cork about 3 hrs before drinking but did not decant which was a mistake. IMHO, this QC needed more air to really shine. Big fruit, bit o leather and licorice.

Popped the cork about 4 hrs before, no decant. Paired with nice Filet steaks. Exquisite and elegant with a great smooth finish. We drank along side a Cayuse "God Only Knows" grenache which also was very nice. Cayuse was all barnyard but good.

So, supposedly Wine Advocate gave this 96 pts. Not the same stuff in my bottle. Overly sweet, not a grenache profile at all. Maybe this is the way a Priorat is supposed to present itself. If so, mea culpa.
The wine has Flabby texture. The wine finishes Short.
