Disgorged 5/2019. Solid but not exceptional. Hopefully this gains some complexity with more time in the bottle

This needs a few hours to open up and probably needs a few more years in the bottle

Easy drinking but not simple. It will change with age but might not get better

5 years post disgorgement this bottle is singing. Had the same vintage 2-3 years ago and it was nowhere near this good

Serving temp is key here. If too cold, wine is tight and overly acidic. Let it warm up and the fruit comes out

A magical champagne. It might change with additional time in the bottle but now sure it can get much better.

A modern cornas, or maybe it’s the vintage. Very drinkable now, although better or the second night.

Extremely reductive upon first opening. Didn't blow off after 2 days at room temp. Put the bottle in the fridge for a week, and it finally came to life.

I’m a fan. Old world styled cab.
#1. Needs at least an hr decant.
#2. The corks can be fragile. Before extracting, warm the neck of the bottle over a flame.

There must be quite a bit of bottle variation based on other reviews. This bottle was clean, acidic and drank well over 2 days.

Very big wine at a nice point in its evolution. Would live to try again in another 5-10 years, unfortunately this was my only bottle

Fun bottle, especially out of the 3L format. Didn't show much age(likely due to format) but don't think it has much to gain from additional aging.

Not my favorite, seems disjointed with the alcohol very present. Maybe it needs more time in the bottle, but not sure that will help.

This is a massive wine. Dark and inky. Stains the glass. While I don't often drink this style of wine, I think it is a great example of a big paso syrah. Fruit forward and high alcohol, a nice treat on a cold winter day. 8 years old now, and doesn't seem to be fading at all.

Bottle was a little muted esp on day 1 and 2. Things finally opened up on day 3 and the fruit on the palate became more apparent. Maybe this needs more time?
