Stunning! At it's prime. Soft finish.

Was a bit sharp upon opening but softened and opened up in about an hour. Very nice dark fruit typical for Saint Julian. As it opened up cherry flavors came forward.

Excellent deep ruby color, fine nose and strong structured taste showing earthy somewhat chewy tannins with slightly fading fruit. Will probably go for another 2-3 years.

Just opened the first of two that was part of a gift basket that I received in August 2011. I expected this to be over the hill but was pleasantly surprised. It still had good purple fruit flavors and it was very soft for a cab.

Very good for a $12.00 bottle - lots of blackberry and blueberry. deep, well structured, rounded and well-balanced.
