- Light/Medium body. Smooth texture with a medium finish - Light and fruity with a hint of brett. Thinner than previous vintages. A pleasant drink for $20 that I would buy again. Better than a lot of CdR I have had lately, but no top Chateauneuf for sure.

Here is a first for me.....Bought this at the new Result tasting room last Saturday. I was putting the bottles in the racks tonight and one bottle was leaking. Pulled off the capsule and No Cork! Vinegar.

Not showing as much of The Rocks character as the first NV release or the 2012 (2012 is a stunner). More typical of a non Rocks Walla Walla). A lot of black pepper on the nose with a medium finish. Very enjoyable, but I prefer the first NV release and 2012. Great value from some really nice people. I am looking forward to trying the second (and last) NV release to compare.

Bought on Winebid for $35. Opened for my 40th Birthday. This wine blew me away...not because is was great, but because it was still very good at 40 years old. There was no brett, no oxidation, no barnyard or any off smells at all. Really the best 25 year plus bottle I have had. Much better than a 1980 CSM cab I had a few months ago. It was all Mushroom and forest floor on the nose, and some red fruit after it opened up. Silky in the mouth, but still some tannins. Medium finish. Not at all astringent. I really think a properly stored bottle of this can go a few more years. A great surprise!

I have had such good luck with aged Potensac. (Tonight I dumped a '97 Napa cab and an '88 Walla Walla Cab down the drain.) Almost none of the bretty funk I see often in older wines. Dusty dark fruit, forest floor and mushroom. Tannins integrated and a silky mouthfeel. Medium finish. Past it's peak, but still alive. I would drink up.

SnP (SnP = Stuck and Poured with the Coravin)
Very well balanced wine with bright acidity. Blackberry, cocoa, minerals. A little heat, but not too much. Long Finish, but still pretty tannic.

Cork was moulded over and came out in pieces. Bricked color. Wine was past prime, but still in good shape. No barnyard funk, which was nice. Mushroom, leather, and hint of cherry. Light bodied and medium finish. I would drink up.

Bottle was kept in the cellar since purchase. Cork was protruding out a half inch. Cork came out with a pop. This sweet wine was now bone dry, oxidized and sparkling. Must have re-fermented in the bottle.

Way past use by date. Drying out and very strong unappealing barnyard and gas station restroom aromas. Dumped after half a glass.

I decided I would open my lowest CT scored wine tonight. This had one review and 50 points due to brett. My bottle had no brett. Ink black and super concentrated. Sweet rich black fruit that hits your palate instantly. Not at all jammy. Excellent acid to balance the sweetness. 45 sec length. I rarely like big concentrated wines like this, but I am going to find some more bottles. I think this could last many more years.

Second day was much better as the funk was blown off. Good acid and some cherry fruit remaining. Earthy with a medium finish. I bought it from Total (they said direct from winery). Cork was in perfect condition.

Opened and got an overwelming bretty sickley antiseptic scent. Over the course of two hours very little changed. I simply hate this smell in wine. i really wanted to love this wine, but could not get over the smell. Tannins were soft and the finish medium...not bad at all on the pallete. Put the bottle in the fridge and went to bed dissapointed once again with a bottle of aged bdx. Next day pulled the bottle out to warm up and poured a glass. Antiseptic smell was gone and the wine was completely transformed. Still some brettyness, but the good savory meaty kind. Hints of dark fruit and green pepper. Some dried leaves as well. Lesson learned....don't be afraid to give an aged wine a nice long decant.

Very well made. Soft tannins, and good ,but not jammy fruit. Fantastic qpr at $15 from full pull. Needs a couple of hours to open up. Have to say this is the best bottle under $20 that I have had in a while.

Honestly, bought this bottle at whole foods as the label was nice. Found zero info on this property and wass not expecting much....just another generic Bordeaux. Was nicely surprised. All hay and earth on the noise....cab franc really coming through. Soft tannins and silky on the pallete....classic merlot. I am going to seek out some more.

Pnp. Cork was soaked 80% through. Initial smells of serious funk. That blew off in a matter of a couple of minutes. Still alive with hints of cherries and earth, but starting to get a bit thin. Drink up!

No nose at all on my bottle....really..nothing. The boxed "Chablis" my parents drank in the 80's had more depth than this. Will demote to cooking wine. Not bad, but completely dull.

Smelled like cow poo, tasted like muti vitamins. Bricked. Found 4 bottles in the back of a 500 bottle Vinotheque I bought off of Craig's List. Glad I did not pay money for the wine. Poured down the drain.

Smell was great. Long unpleasant bitter finish like chewing on a grapefruit rind. Maybe a bad bottle.
