Amazingly balanced fruit and tannins. Silky finish. Superb wine.

Young, tight, underlying foundation there but should lay down for a couple of years to develop and meet its full potential. Incredibly dark and a heavy chocolate taste. After about 2 hours of decanting it opened up, the tannins relaxed, and the berry tastes started to become apparent. I'm excited to try this again in the future as I let my other bottles lay down and I imagine give it a much higher rating. Good wine but young, strong potential.

Inky, smooth, dusty, with grippy tannins. Very tasty and really peaked at about the 2 hour mark in terms of decanting.

Clove and pepper, dark fruit as the anchor. Fruit is developing well, but could use a couple years in the bottle to meet its full potential. Not sure why the notes suggest drinking in 2015 - I think this will develop very nicely over time. Recommend hold.

Second bottle I've opened, even better than I remember. In addition to the earlier review I left, the long velvety finish is what set this apart for me, ripe with intense chocolate and leather. One of those wines that was so enjoyable I was sad to reach the end of the bottle.

Smooth zin through and through - raspberry, clove, cardimun. Great balance, very much enjoyed and price point was reasonable for a Napa red of this caliber.

Very bold, complex profile up front - pretty big tannins, cherry, and spice. Lacked smoothness on the finish, but still quite good.

Rich and buttery Chardonnay, just the right amount of oakiness Excellent wine especially for the value.

Good but wasn't overly impressed. Very smooth for such a young wine, and solid fruit up front, but for me it lacked in structure and depth on the back end. May develop if it sits for a bit.

Excellent Bordeaux-like blend. Intense berry with just the right amount of jamminess, complemented by hints of cedar and oak. Very well balanced wine overall, and excellent value for a Napa red of this caliber.

Deep ruby color, fully developed and mature structure. Heavy tannins and velvety finish. Really opened up over the 2 hours I decanted it. Probably past its peak at this point, but still incredibly enjoyable. Should be drank with food - recommend a nice Rib eye with good marbling.

Good structure, well blended red. Cab, petite verdot, and malbec (in that order) come through strong. Tasting very well right now.

Deep boysenberry, pepper, and slight clove tasting profile. Moderate to high acidity on the finish. Expect this will peak over the next 12-18 months, but drinking quite well right now.

Great structure - velvety with balanced tannins. Vanilla, blackberry, very subtle clove. Paired well with rib eye, recommend decanting for one hour at least, began opening up nicely at that point. Very pleased overall with this bottle.

I opened a bottle in July of 2013 and it was firing on all cylinders. Tannic, deep blackberry and leather tastes with a hint of pepper. Everything you'd expect from a napa cab. I opened a bottle tonight and let it decant for 2 hours, finally started to loosen up and was much better when paired with food, but it appears to have passed its prime. Tasting profile was over-ripe and slightly musky, with hints of the flavor profile from last summer so certainly still drinkable but recommend opening asap if you have one. Absolutely love ZD wines, my fault for not opening sooner.
