Red-fruited, lively, great energy. Tannins not completely resolved. Still fresh. I love Gamay! Terres Dorees is always a great value.
White
Really love this wine. Speaks more of Collio than cepage. Rebuy.

A tad rich/ripe for my tastes. Great effort and would totally rebuy. Good upside of aging. Don't mean this to be backhanded, my wheelhouse is sub-13.5 ABV. expressive wine and clearly balance is the intent here.

14% ABV, Firm tannins, fruit emerges over time w/ air. Black fruited, more than is typical, not as much sous-bois as I'd like. Enjoyable, but a tad ripe for my taste. Served with Prime dry-aged rib-eye and Rancho Gordo beans.
Red
A blast! 11.5 % abv. Fresh, fruity, energetic, and alive. Considering what 2013's vintage news implied, this was delightful. I love Gamay.
Red
Red-fruited, mineral, and electric. Rebuy.
Red
Earthy, semi-resolved, pretty, neither huge, nor overly concentrated, not at all spoofy. Like a lot. If one prefers a mess of big fruit-with oak to match-in their claret, look elsewhere. Rebuy.

Great Barbera! Thanks to Jamie and Chambers St. Wines

Corkity, corked. Not rated.

Love this wine in 2008. I sense it will age into something really lovely. Just having a really hard time keeping my hands off these. Caveat taster: loads of crunchy, electric acidity; unless you're an acid freak, have with food.

Such a beautiful mineral expression of Mersault. Seems to have years ahead. Lovely to drink and share.

A little bitter on the finish relative to other vintages. Would re-buy, but I prefer cooler vintages with Pinot Blanc Reserve. Pretty fruit, good (for Pinot Blanc) aromatics, just a tiny bit out of kilter.
Nice with ramp frittata.
White - Off-dry

Sponti, then mineral. Floral, followed by wet stone and yellow fruits.

Tapenade, smokey dry cured bacon, garrigue, iron, red plum. Tannins resolved, acid main structural component now. Beautiful with air. Really like this bottle. Not for anyone looking for fruit-driven at this point.

Earthy, pretty, funky. Had it with grilled sausage and broccoli rabe.

Bought on closeout. Heat-damaged. Cork soaked not quite to point of breach. Sad that a a wine with such vulnerability was left to the elements.
Trust retailer and importer, but someone should be very ashamed.
N/R Flawed (multiple btls were flawed from this purchase, sigh).

I shouldn't enjoy these as much as I do. Clearly ripe, but still with ample minerality to keep from seeming blowsy. While not in the league of Gonon St. Joseph blanc, Perret keeps nailing it for me.

Corked, NR. This makes me a sad panda.

Firm, mostly iron and red fruit at first. Slowly uncoiled to expose more animal and floral notes, but is mostly shut down. There's something pretty sort of lurking beneath, but not ready yet (not that i was expecting this to be open for business). Wait for another 2-3 years until trying another. Served with pan-roasted magret with cider glaze, brussels sprouts with pancetta, buttermilk mashed potatoes.

Fair amount of reduction at first. After decanting, red fruits, hint of tar, nicely acidic and fresh finish..Moderate weight on palate. Fruit picks up spicy notes with a good deal of air. Fresh, if somewhat dense. Decent tension between sweet and savory. Served with grilled quail and farro salad.

Floral and red fruit perfume on the nose followed by earthy, loamy notes- not quite sous bois, but freshly turned soil. Bright fruit turning fairly spicy, then mineral zap to the the palate. Tension between fruit and earth makes this for me. Clos Roche Blanche consistently over delivers.
