May be my expectation was set too high. The first 3/4 bottle, drank over the two nights, after decanting still hit me a surprise fruit bomb. Only the last 1/4 bottle at the end of the second evening did it climb back up, though still not nearly as good as I had hoped.

Paired wonderful with white truffles dinners at Otto e Mezzo, on 11/30 and then on 12/7. Went especially well with heaps of white truffles shaved table side personally by Umberto

Not as good as Ferren Frei Road, even though the grapes were from Ritchie, where some of the most delicious chardonnay grapes came. This is from the same winemaker as well.
