Needs some time to breathe for it to open up a little.

It has some spice to it. Forward fruit flavor and smooth finish, lots of currant.

This wine is drinking really well right now. Nice in the nose with some cherry with a slight charred wood flavor.

Great flavor, blackberry, rasberry and a hint of cherry. Probably could use some more time in the cellar for a longer finish, but still smooth.

Slight tang to the note. Chalky and some coal flavors. Nice blackcurrent flavors.

Heavy, rich cherry and blackcurrant flavors. Lots of tannin. Drinking well now but be careful what you eat with it as it can taste slightly sweet and almost turning i.e. avoid acidic or spicy foods. Better with dark chocolate.

It does take a while to open up but is a beautiful drink. Full in the mouth with a smooth finish. Mostly fruit with a hint of charcoal.

Delicious! After drinking a not so great bottle the night before I found this to hit my palate perfectly. Beautiful nose and fruit with a smooth finish.

I had hoped it was just a bad bottle but all 6 of my well stores bottles came out the same. Cloudy and dull. Not sharp in the least and i kept hoping but never delivered

The cork crumbled which worried us but it still had that smooth taste. I did not get a lot because it went fast!

Debating buying 2012. Good cab but is it worth 80 per bottle?

Lots of black licorice and a smoky flavor that made it very deep. Enjoyed the bottle but definitely a little past.

I had low expectations as I bought it in an auction and its past its prime according to the stats and was a single vintage in the lot i bought. Fortunately the wine was stored well given the label was in good condition and cork perfect. The wine was still in the lower neck. There was only a hint of browning of the wine and still held the ruby color. While not as robust as the more recent Napa Silver Oaks, a very fine vintage. Delicious

Despite a worn label, the cork was in good shape. Used cheese cloth to reduce sediment and a bit of the cork. Absolutely delicious. Retained its ruby color instead of the brown that ive seen from poorly stored bottles. Delicious way to celebrate my wifes special day today.
