Had this as part of a $10, $15, $20 California Pinot Noir tasting. This was the $15 and scored the worst. The only one I wouldn't drink again.

Underwhelming. I had high expectations and they were not at all met. For the price, disappointed. Perhaps it is just not ready yet.

I've come to learn that WL's recommendations are either great or average. This one, well, average.

This is a fantastic Zin. I bought a bottle to try on a recommendation and I went back and bought all they had. Simply a fantastic lively full of flavor Zin.

I was disappointed. Expected more fruit, but it was rather bland and boring.

Ah yes, this is what I love about Sonoma zins. Lots of fruit and spice.

Remarkably underwhelming. I can only hope it is still to young and will mature better.

Full bodied and sweet. This wine is holding up remarkably well. Great pearing with Asian Ginger Chicken.

Most unimpressive wine I have tasted from Ledson. Lacked any interest whatsoever. A not-so-subtle reminder to beware the wine club...

Continuing to hold up very well. Took a chance and paired this evening with a spicy white bean chicken chili. A fantastic PS.

On it's way out, this will not last any longer. Nothing to this wine at this point. Tannins at the end, but lacking much flavor at all. Sadly, I have one more bottle. As they say, "smoke 'em if you got 'em."

Much better than my last notes. Had with chicken marcala (from Capers) and the whole bottle was smooth and inviting. Enjoy!

What I liked about this wine long ago is gone. It is somewhat dry and tannic with very little of the rich flavors that were once here.

I decanted for about 30 minutes but it needed to open up more. 45 minutes seemed to be the magic number. Before then, it was ultra dry, hot and fruity. But it turned a corner and mellowed into quite a nice wine.

My last one, and I'd say if you have any left now is the time. Felt a little more dry than I remembered. Still good, but I think it's on the downhill.

Well, definately not one of my favorites. Sipped this one all night and went through a few stages, none of which were that great and the last few were downright not good. Lots of sediment. I think I'll decant my next bottle and see if that helps, but at this point I doubt it.

From the winery - 4 Star Gold Medal - 2007 Orange County Fair. The fruit from Amy’s Vineyard is hand-selected by Steve and Amy from vines along the top of a knoll near the Russian River that are close to 100-years old. It was picked at 25 brix and barrel aged in French oak for 22 months. The result is an irresistible Zin with aromas of raspberry, cranberry, vanilla and black pepper that transition into thyme, blueberry and boysenberry flavors. In the savoring state, the finish leaves you with flavors of white pepper, cocoa, nutmeg and dried cranberries.

Found this at the bottom of my cellar - a lost toy. Surprisingly good, but after an hour and a half or so it started getting a little bitter. Probably past it's prime, so drink up!

Hummm... Had this as a second bottle after home made pasta fagioli. Very earthy and needed a while to open up. Needs to be paired with a strong food, since by itself it seemed overdone and wasn't nearly as good as when we had it out to eat. Holding out hope since I bought a case and have 11 more to go.
