Disappointing. Mediocre Australian cabernet that doesn't deliver the goods. I can only assume the "President" was having an off day when he made this selection!

Bairrada at it's best. Blackcurrants & liquorice. Balanced but retaining the streak of acidity that makes this such a superb partner for fatty meats (slow roast belly pork).

Lychee and petrol nose. Palate showed lovely lemon/lime acidity with the emergence of honeyed tropical fruit. Very good length. This riesling has repaid cellaring for the last four years and will last (improve?) for the next 5 years.

Lacking the ripe fruit of a better year, the palate showed notable acidity. But it matched well with steak and was generally enjoyable.
