Burgundy slender with lots of cherry, raspberry, red currants, some herbs and liquorice root. High nice acidity and chalky minerality. A wine to drink and just enjoy, yet with class and elegance.

First you smell tobacco and botte grande, then a fruity mix of cherries and some mashed strawberries. Suddenly there's a slightly annoying scent from kind of synthetic fruit ester. Still a very good wine with finesse. Like a mix of 50% barbera, 25% nebbiolo and 25% sangiovese without oak. Soft and a little dumb in the middle but good length, nice acidity and restrained powder tannin.

Scents of red fruit with pinotspiced strawberries and redcurrants, some yellow flowers and juniper wood. Soft light creamy texture with a nice high acidity and balanced oak with a pinch of white pepper. Really nice and balanced day 2

Pinot Noir from Pupillin, a small village close to Arbois, famous for wines made of Ploussard grapes. Certified biodynamic producer but no "bio" scents. Just lots of Jura limestone minerals and acidity from light red fruit like cranberries, red currant and wild strawberries. So pure and obvious. For the soul.

Scents of sawdust, herbs, sticks of liquorice, ripe mashed lightly cooked strawberries, sand from a birdcage sailing on a small lake of jura minerals.
In the mouth it is medium-bodied with velvety tannins and a good acidity. The minerality with seaweed salinity and seashells is prominent and similar to the other Jura wines we previously tasted. Pinot Noir dominates but you can sense the slight peppery units from Trosseau grapes. No oxidative notes, good balance, tastefully with finesse and not too much bio.
Jura is magic!

Light yellow. Scents of slate minerals, yellow apples, apricot, yellow flowers, a touch of honey and hazelnut. Same on palate with nice balance between sweetness and acidity but less flavours than expected and a little dull without that punchy crunchy feeling.

Nose: Menthol, iron minerality, boiled strawberries, tar paper, fois gras, some black truffle
Palate: Slender but with big complexity. Red berries, mostly boiled strawberries but also some ripe red wineberries, menthol, fois gras, umami, rosehips, some tar. Fine powder tannins and still nice acidity.
Really nice to drink now, with or without food.

Beaujolais expression (maceration carbonique?) as from pure gamay or a passetoutgrain, but on palate also some "dolcettic" austerity and jura minerals, nice acidity and fine tannins. Extremely high drinkability and perfect for tonight's corn-fed chicken with red pesto, parmeggiano and tagliatelle

Made of grapes from pre-phylloxera stocks, 140 years old! Yield 0,56Hl/Ha.
Dark black red. Nose: Liquorice, dried fruit, some coffee, vanilla, white and yellow flowers, red cherries. Palate: Concentrated, dried fruit with sligth sweetness, medium toasted oak, fire from the high alcohol level (15,5%) but despite that quite well balanced.

Wines from the new world is not what we usually drink. This one is quite good though despite we had it in the living room 4 years! Well balanced with ripe somewhat sweet dark fruit, herbs, some meat and a hint of pepper, integrated oak with milk chocolate, decent acidity, soft tannins. Reminds a little of some wines from south France a warm year.

A warm year and some say that they used the Montalcino grapes in Rosso instead of making Brunello.
Besides cherries and rosehips we sniff some glue, botti, milk chocolate, tobacco and a hint of freshly cut grass. The intensity of both aroma and flavor is quite high. The mouth feel is youthful and somewhat edgy. The acidity is medium to high, tannins moderate.
Day two edges have been ground off and maraschino cherries comes forward together with a more obvious heat and implied sweetness.

Clean and clear fruit with unripe strawberries, lingonberries and wild raspberries. We find minerals but also gamaylike black winegums (Basset's!). So high drinkability with fresh and high acidity, the fresh fruit and some aromatic spicy notes from szechuan pepper. 11€ is almost a bargain for this summer wine. 86+

A bargain for 9€. Small producer. Bought at the vineyard. Can't understand why the wines from Bergerac/Pécharmant aren't more famous. Slightly opaque purple with a brownish edge. Well balanced with maturity notes of barnyard, cedar, plums, cacao, sandy tannins, more than medium acidity, medium length. Drink now, with or without entrecôte!

100% ecological. Only natural yeast. Traditional made, fermented on wood 4-5 weeks without temperature control, ripening 38 months on 25hl slavonian botti, then the rest of the time on 20hl botti.
Ripe sour cherries, cranberries, a scent of stable, botti wood, fresh expensive tobacco, a dash of solvent, some nebbiolo character. On palate sandy tannins and fresh high acidity.
Outstanding!
Let it rest for at least 5 years and it will be even better.
