Excellent wine! 70% Semillon / 30% Sauvignon Blanc. Glad I got quite a few for the summer.

Dazzles with a vibrant cherry and sophisticated cedar aroma, accented by intriguing notes of graphite and pencil lead, embodying the quintessential Cabernet character. On the palate, these elements converge in a harmonious blend, with smooth tannins and a depth that speaks to its meticulous crafting. It's a wine that offers a classic yet nuanced expression, leaving a positive impression with its balanced interplay of fruit, earth, and mineral nuances.

An even blend of Pinot Noir, Meunier, and Chardonnay from premier and grand cru vineyards. Fermented in oak barrels.
Very fun to drink and delicious.

Enjoyed with Braised short ribs, carrots + mashed potatoes. Initially, tight and tannic. Needs some air to open up, really enjoyed

In a great spot. Eucalyptus notes on the nose. I don't think there will be much improvement for waiting. Drink up if you have them. Could hang on for a year or two.

Light browning with overall good color with clear edges, certainly on the way down but still enjoyable. From .750L @ 20 Years old. No real fruit on the nose after 45 min. Becomes alcohol and some what oxidized. Medium sediment in the bottle. Taste is what saves it. Wine is sweet, showing good extraction and quality with medium acidity. Drink up. $30/USD at auction.

You can tell this is well made wine. Balanced for sure. Surprisingly this Zin is on the right side of the bell curve on the way down. Fruit was pretty much muted, wine was balanced. Tannins were all integrated but present.

Strong tannins great nose upon opening. Rounded out after an hour. Good fruit and legs with mostly integrated tannins. Red fruits and acidity and some abv on the nose and cigar box cedar. Drinking well.

Decanted to reveal a complex nose of ripe plum, aged wood, and earthy undertones. On the palate, it shows grainy tannins that contrast interestingly with its overall smooth profile. Light sediment is noticed.

Not sure what the fuss is about from other reviews. This was decent. Took some time to really open up, finish was muted for first few hours and needed time to open up. Preferred temp was cool not cold.

Another disappointing "Reserve" release from this winery. Not as awful as the Reserve Tempranillo but no where near worthy of the "Reserve" on the label. Guess I need to stick with the Isos, Justification and Isos Reserve!
