Fair if it can be had for less than $15. Notes of cherry and vanilla with a little spice. Will not be valid for long.

Very nice deep Bordeaux. Deep and dark, Tastes of tobacco, tar, and dark cherry. Drinking really well right now, with just enough tannin to let you know without being over the top.

Classic Bordeaux aromas. Dark fruits, earthy, nutty on the nose. first taste was a winner, black cherry, tobacco, a hint of mushroom. but, unfortunately that was it. I kept hoping for the coming of some spice, but it didn't arrive. Still, all in all a pretty nice wine with a decent QPR.

Decent Gewurtz with a fair QPR. Not a lot of nose, but there are some floral notes. Flavors of citrus, rose, & sweet peach. A bit one dimensional, but pleasant.

Nose of grass & citrus. I may have over-chilled. It started out with a very lemony feel, but as it warmed the citrus mellowed and some honey with floral came out. over-all, I liked it, and would buy more. I will also state I'm not a huge white drinker and this was my first Sancerre, can't wait to have another to compare.

Very nice for the price. A little earthiness with cherry & tobacco. Has a nice balance, though a little one dimensional on it's finish. Still, the QPR is outstanding.

Excellent QPR. Had with dinner at an Italian BYO. Despite the variety of dishes (rabbit ravioli, duck breast) it went very well with all. Light in color, it has a light fruit nose & taste. decent tannins as well. some hints of spice that were slightly muted by the fare.

This wine seemed a little.. meh.. to me. some notes of cherry and raisin, but the tannins were not there. I would suggest drinking now. It was short on the finish. For the price, I think there are better.

Fairly typically Malbec. Some notes of cream, berry, and a little pepper. Not overly complex, but just tannic enough to make me think it will last a little while. Nice QPR, I'd buy again.

Plum & Raisin, hints of tar and tobacco. it's smooth, not overly tannic, and should last a while, but is drinking very well right now. I had it open for about a half hour, but decanting is not necessary. The finish is not quite as robust as I'd hoped, but it's a great wine.

Heavy on tar & cherry. While not unappetizing, it was a very simple wine. There was no finish to speak of. While I won't turn my nose to it, I probably won't buy any more, either.

Wow, this is a big powerful Shiraz. Deep dark cherry, tar and licorice. A little bit of pepper on the finish. it's definitely drinking in its wheelhouse now. I have two more bottles and I'm really looking forward to them.

Nice nose. Has some typical Malbec notes, with a little nuttiness. I actually like the aroma a little better than the taste. Plum and tobacco, but not very layered. those flavors were forward and stayed there. Not much of a finish. But, keeping the price in mind, it was decent. I'd buy it again.

Hot summer day, which probably helped. It was refreshing, not sweet. Tastes of lemongrass and pear. It was a bit thin, but overall a nice bottle and I'd buy more. Good QPR.

A nice nose of cherry, berry, and meat (pepperoni). It was a little tight when opened and should be decanted or left to breath for a while... I didn't. But it opened nicely when left. Nice flavors of cherry, tobacco and peat. The finish could have been more complex, as a CdP should be. But overall it was a good wine and I'd buy more.

the nose was primarily turpentine. The taste was better, but nothing to brag about. There were some raisin notes, but mostly was thin and absolutely no finish. I was really hoping to find a cheap gem for an every-night kind of wine, but I'd much rather pay more for something of quality.

I opened and let breath for an hour. Nose is very fruit forward, with some mossy undertones. Taste followed, with cherry & plum and light tannins. Medium finish, which complimented the cheese plate we had with it. Very happy with this wine.

I let this breath for about an hour. Deep, dark ruby in color. Plum nose, but tastes more of cherry to me. The plum is there as is a good bit of earthiness. An hour later (last glass) it's even better. My only bottle (it was a gift), but I'll look for more.

One dimensional in every aspect. The nose was over-ripe fruit, almost rancid. But, after about a half hour, the fruit came out. Simple berry, but passable. And I'll pass, thank you.

This has become my staple 'want a glass of wine' bottle. Best QPR out there and a very decent bottle of wine. Flavors of cherry and vanilla with a little oak. As someone mentioned before me, let it sit open for an hour and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

It's been a year since my last entry on this wine and I'm still a big fan. I think it's drinking well still and is in its prime, but will probably be there for a while. Good forward fruits of plum and raisen. some spice and earthiness show up and just a hint of tannins. Down to my last half case, but will savor (and look for more).

I'm probably rating this a little high, because of the great QPR. But it is a pleasant merlot, though fairly one dimensional. Fruity, but not sweet. Strawberry really comes through. I bought it for 6.99 and for that price I'm pretty happy. Not very tannic so it won't last long.

A little buttery, a little lemony, a good QPR. Had a couple of bottles with friends on a very hot day with some fruit & cheese and it was quite pleasant. Simple, no real finish, but refreshing (how much was the pairing - heat & food - and now much was the wine, not sure).

Mostly sweet. No, entiirely sweet. Not hint of anyting other than sugars. But, not sweet enough to even qualify as poor dessert wine. So, soda substitute, maybe good for a summer spritzer.

I've never given a wine this low of a rating before, so that tells you something. But, based on the Parker scake (which none of us really follow, it is average. To me that means it should be selling with the 5.99 bottles, so the rating has something to do with over-paying (I paid $15 a bottle). Still, simple and a little bitter. No complexity.

I'm probably influcend by the price, which is quite reasonable. But there is a nice nuttiness to the nose. Whiile thin with a light finish, it is surprisingly bright and crisp with hints of strawverry and raisin. Though not a classic, a nice qpr and a good every day wine.

Full disclosure, had at dinner after a couple of cocktails. consumed at nice little Italian BYO, so food and atmostphere played in on this. But, drank upon opening and it didn't require any decanting (though I thought it improved as dinner went on). Great balance and nice subtle nose of raisin & earth. finished with some acidity and oak. Played well with the chicken in port demi-glas & proscuito. Enjoyed enough that I went back and immediately bought more.

Darkly colored, with a hint of smokiness on the nose. No need to decant poured straight after opening. Taste was fairly straight forward, mostly berries (black & straw) to me. Not strong on the finish and not very tannic. Pretty much the first taste is what you get. Don't get me wrong, it's a good taste, but just good.

I think this wine can be best described as thin. Not much of a nose and practically no finish. slightly plumlike, but again, all flavors are light. But on the other hand, what it did show was pleasant for for $10, it's passable.
