A lot like the 06 black fruit pops out followed quickly by creosote and smokey fire. Soft mouthfeel, closed.. put in decanter and eventually it opened up.

The previous bottles I opened really needed more time in the cellar. To date this has had the biggest cherry lovely nose yet. Big cherry fruit in flavor and some spice.

Unfortunately I didn't take notes and consumed it at least a month ago. I remember liking it quite a bit. I do recall smoke on the nose and deep fruit and a smokiness in flavor.

I think I popped this on my birthday, but can't remember. Nose struck me as really nice, black fruit, cassis and cedar. Opens quite a bit with air eventually showing some sage. Black fruit upfront, cedar, cassis with the immense fruit, there is a nice layer of soft tannin. Thought it was very good, not great, although I know it wasn't a great vintage.

Opened a month or so ago. My first taste of this SB was really nice. The nose showed honey dew and citrus notes. Loved the honey dew fruit in taste and really liked the acidity.
