Had this bottle sitting in the cellar and decided to try it. Glad I did t wait longer but very happy I waited as long as I did. For a bottle I bought for $25 iseveral years ago this has held up fantastically. Great fruit, soft tannins, fully rounded. Just a really nice bottle.

Cork was dry but mercifully the wine seemed unaffected. Starting to thin out a little bit still quite robust while being extremely amooth.

Excellent. But drink now if you have it.

Just a great balanced delicious Syrah. Got at Costco for $19. Excellent value. SA wines are real steals.

Very nice up front. Lost a little depth after a few sips but surprising balanced wine. Very nice Syrah. Enjoyed it and will buy again.

Not fair to rate this as it seems past the prime drinking window.

This is a fruit bomb but is absolutely fantastic with acidic foods. Cuts right through and stays fully with you sip after sip. Consistent quality as expected from glaetzer. Great value for the money.

I Wont score this since it would be into the 60s or 70s only and I hate to score anything that harshly as others seem to like this. Perhaps this is simply hitting my palate wrong but I found this to be undrinkable. Very sweet, no complexity, too much heat on the finish. Simply not good. Tried it again day 2 and same result. Get anything from mollydooker to compare and you'll see what I mean.

Pairs very well with spicy foods. Holds up, doesn't get lost after tie sips and tastes spectacular. Very rich/velvety finish for a Rioja. Terrific.

Unfortunately this turned to a nice acidy proto vinegar. Just kept it too long.

Starting to pay attention to the community drinking window suggestions.

Reasonable. Soft tannin. Good color. Acid up front but mellow with aeration.

Good but not great.

Not impressive. Decent but more of an acidic bite than should be. Strikes me as unbalanced. Thier reserves are significantly better.

Very nice cab. Deep fruit and good structure. Will benefit from a couple more years in the bottle to soften up a touch.

Tremendous wine. Excellent example of Tempranillo. Fisrst rich fruit and deep flavor. Smooth. Great right out of the bottle with an aeration. Even better day 2.
2011 compares very favorably and is readily available. Buy and store those a couple of years and you'll be rewarded.

Deep fruit for a claret. Rich. Very nice. Good restaurant value at $60. $40 retail a bit high.

Very good cab, especially for the price point. Deep fruit and good structure. Smooth with the right amont of tannic bite. Really enjoyed this. Will continue to improve for a couple years more. 2 bottles left. Wish I had a case!

Needs some air. Tight and acidy right out of the bottle but excellent example of a typical (good) ribiera del duero after a few hours. Balanced.

Fruit is all you taste at first and not pleasantly so but calmed down a lot second day. Worked paired with heavy red sauce pasta.
