Opened five hours before drinking. Tons of fruit, silky texture, perfect balance, long finish. A masterpiece that has decades in front of it.

One hour decant and this was singing. Velvety texture. One of my favorite California wines.

Has lost a lot of fruit. But still a solid showing after a 2-3 hour decant. Drink now, will not improve with further cellaring.

Decanted but was close to ready out of the gate. Terrific bouquet and a crowd pleaser. Only complaint was that it was a little short.

Crowd pleaser. Felt the oak and vanilla overpowered the fruit a bit, but overall a nice drink.

Opened and kept in the bottle for 5+ hours. Lots of cherry, cranberry, and a hint of leather. Only complaint is that it's a little short.

Silky texture, very elegant wine. Decanted and drank half one night and the other half the second night. Really smoothed out which helped with the high alcohol content.

Drinking incredibly well right now. PnP. Licorice and cranberry the first hour and then ripe dark fruit thereafter. Very enjoyable.

Terrific white burgundy for the price. Crisp, minerally, should age well over the next several years.

One of the better CA Chardonnays I've ever had. Lot of smoke, indicative of the widespread fire during this vintage. Not the best with food; I'd choose as a standalone.

Not a huge fan of SB but this was outstanding. Almost chard like on the bouquet and first taste. SB on the long finish. Outstanding wine.

- Violet color - Very tight at first and opened up nicely after 2+ hour decant. Fruit forward with little rim variation, both to be expected given its age. Likely not to open any more of this for a few years as the potential for greatness is certainly there. Just not today.

- Garnet color with medium forming legs with a full body. Polished texture with a long finish - Drank side by side with the 2012. 2+ hour decant for each. This wine was outrageously good, very elegant, with an herbal finish. Feel like the 2012 has the potential to age into something even better.

One of the best wines I've drank all year. Was good right away but went to another level after an hour or so decant. Silky smooth texture, well structured, and long (for a 2011 CA). Really drinking beautifully right now.

PnP first hour was fruity and spicy (in a good way)...opened up after a few hours with quite a bit of structure for a zin. Better than the 2011 but not there with the 2010. Solid offering.

This is NOT a typical rose. 16.1% alochol, very full bodied. Pleasant enough wine but don't lump in with other weaker roses.
